Virginia - I love the whole look! FF - that blazer is fantastic! Joanis - apparently its a red skinny kind of day. Maybe I should check this thread before I get dressed....
Pants are thrifted, sweater is gap from like 10 years ago (seriously - its ridiculously old), polka dot chambray is new from ON.
Alright, here's my flop of an outfit. I feel like it's too loose on top and too matchy with the shoes. How would you improve this?
I don't think the shoes are too matchy, but I do think the top needs waist definition, or maybe you need skinnier pants? Though the pants already do look pretty skinny...

Your photo is kind of at a bad angle, so my comments may be a little distorted by that. I love that top, but I think the problem with the outfit is that with the length of your tunic, you really need a full length pant and not a capri. I think it is making your top half look extra long and your bottom half look short.
Perhaps belting the tunic would fix it, but I think the best thing would be to wear longer pants (that are still skinny)
I'm not dressed yet today, but here's what I bought this week:
This is just for working at home, running errands, hanging out w/ the kid. I need more casual day dresses like this.
This dress is HUGE on me so I'll try to exchange it. I got a M and really needed a S, but had no way of knowing since I haven't worn a S since junior high.
I also got some black leggings but they're not here yet. I don't even have anything to put them with but everyone says I should have some.
I'm in Harrison Township. A lot of people don't seem to know where that is, but it's near Mount Clemens.
I sorta know where that is! I'm a lurker around these parts, but I just moved to the Detroit burbs (Saint Clair Shores) about 3 months ago. I get excited when I see other people from the area!

Lol, awesome! Saint Clair Shores is just a drive up Jefferson from me.
