A friend of a friend is going to be in Seattle for one night this Friday before heading out on a cruise. They are looking for a fantastic seafood restaurant. I suggested Aqua by El Gaucho but the price point scared them a bit. Other recommendations?

Has anyone been to Seatown? Or Etta's recently (we went years ago and it was good but I wasn't wowed)? Or thoughts on Steelhead Diner?

I like Duke's by Greenlake.

OH! But my sister found the BEST fish and chips place that we have EVER had (this is NOT a joke), Wally's in Des Moines. Their clam chowder is also really good. Guys, I'm so serious, this is the best ever.

@uwhuskygirl these were even better than ones I've have in England, I would like you to go there and confirm this for me, kthankx.

I haven't been there in a while, though, so I don't know about the prices. Salty's isn't too expensive and also a great view.

I think they're looking for downtown as they're going to the Space Needle, the gum wall, Pike Place Market, etc. I don't think they'll have a car (although they could take a water taxi to Salty's!).

Oh! I forgot Lowell's in the market. My mom loves this place and it's really good. I don't remember if they take reservations, but it's delicious and not pricey.
