What is the most you would pay for a professional Race Photo? Assume the photo is in focus, well composed, you look good, and such. I am wondering b/c I'm priced lower than other local race photographer and am thinking about redoing my pricing structure.
I put I would pay up to $20. I feel like that is what they cost at the races I've run in. And it I look GOOD, I would def. pay up to $25. I'd pay $10 for a bad one.
I can't vote from my phone, but I would pay $20 for a good one from a special race. The ones that I don't purchase are usually because I'm one of 100 people in the photo or its a race that I don't feel like I need to commemorate.
I'd pay more than $20 if I really loved the pic. I'm pretty picky (about myself more than the composure of the photo, so not the photogs problem), but I think I've had at least one pic that I'd pay $20+ for at all of my big races, and most of my smaller ones, too.

Well, I would, and have, paid $20-$25 for a single photo. However, I'd buy pictures a lot more frequently if I could get a download of the image for closer to $10-$12.
I voted SS because there's a lot of "it depends" going on.
Even if it's a great photo of me, I'm not willing to pay much (if anything?) for photos from small local races, because the photo doesn't have the same memories attached to it.
A great, or even good, photo from an A race? I've paid >$20 for those.
One of my pet peeves though: Look, photographers of the world, I totally get why you watermark proofs, and why the proofs are lower res than the actual photos. You need to protect the value of your work, and even so, people still screen capture your work for free. It sucks. But OTOH, I haaaate it when the proofs are so low res that I seriously can't tell the differences between single shots that I am considering paying $$ or $$$ for per shot. I want to pay for the photos, but I need to see what I'm buying. I hate having to more or less blindly guess between two, knowing that at high res, I will probably pretty clearly prefer one. I especially hate that buying 2 photos is as expensive as a whole "buy all the photos associate with your bib #" deal. Out of frustration I have done the latter and been pretty surprised when I get the images; the ones I thought (from the proofs) that I'd like, are often not the best ones.
In short, better proofs to pick images to buy would be so helpful.
