I can't complain. It has been cloudy and rainy here the last 2 days which has kept the temp 10 degrees cooler than forecasted -and as soon as I feel all happy bout the thunderstorms that have popped up, I see a fire helicopter fly overhead. Eek.

Lovely. It was sunny and in the high 70s today. My DD tried to play inside with her friends today and I channeled my mother and told them to go back outside because it's too nice to play inside! We only get two months of summer here in Maine; you need to take advantage!
104* right now (7pm) which is "cooler" than it was last week. June broke records but it hasn't been a big deal to me...that's what booze and the pool is for.
It was perfect today - mid 70s, sunny, and not humid. This is a huge welcome break from how shitty June was. We had something like 8 inches of rain in June and we normally have like 1 - 2. It sucked.
I really feel for the west coasters who are enduring this heat wave with no AC. I hope it breaks soon!
Eh, it was 90-ish today, which everyone here in SoCal is complaining about. But I'm from Phoenix, so I feel AAM2012's pain. Hot ain't hot till it's 95 degrees at midnight!

Been in the triple digits for awhile now but yesterday we had thunderstorms so it cooled us down. Today didn't seem too bad. Maybe 95* and a little humid, which is still hot but much better than 105* with the sun beating beating down hard.
Hot, hanging around 100-104 this week. We've got a dry heat which beats Oregon summers and the humidity you have. We used to live there and never realized how humid it actually is. We used to joke summer didn't start until July 4th but that's not the case this year
Really weird for Tennessee. The daily highs have been hovering in the mid 70's to low 80's, and it's been raining everyday. It's usuly hot as balls (>90) with very little rain this time of year.
Fucking hotttttttttt. It was in the 90s today. Which, yes, doesn't sound that hot if you're in Florida or Phoenix or Hell or whatever, but when NO WHERE IN YOUR CITY except for the grocery store and movie theater has A/C, it is misery. My office was in the 90s today. I was dripping sweat down my back. Literally.
Sounds like a good time to hang out at Target You have my sympathy!

Ugh that is much too hot for Seattle. I would be dying.
It's in the 70s here today and should be low 70s all weekend. My a/c is cranking.
90+ so not that high temp as we'd expect, except there is WAY MORE humidity than has been normal the past few years. Last evening was GORGEOUS. 86, breezy, no humidity. Perfection.
Everything is so lush and green due to all the rain this spring/early summer. It almost looks weird. We went from Stage 4 drought to regular conservation. I wish I could send everyone from other drought and fire danger areas our rains.
Perfect here. Sunny, no humidity, 70's. We deserve it. It has alternated between super humid w/ rain and cold w/ rain. It was the worst June I ever remember. I hope this fabulous start to July means it is going to be better.
