I've had this lower left...practically my tailbone....for the past few days. It's been somewhat OK. Today, I try to get up out of bed and get straighten up had jabbing pain down there. I was stuck at what felt like 45 degrees for forever. I had to slowly inch up for several minutes till I was upright.
I also get weird pains in new and exciting locations and figure it's normal. I would call the doc if it was severe and/or prolonged. As everything stretches and adjusts, various aches and pains are to be expected.
It happens. I've been seeing my massage therapist on a regular basis throughout. That sounds like it might be a sciatic pain or a pinched nerve, which you can't do much about unfortunately. I find yoga classes also help, and focusing on my posture during the day.
I have had terrible tail bone pain and haven't found anything that has helped long term. I have had a prenatal massage and it was wonderful, I wish I could have one every day.

I've had it off and on since about ten weeks (so not belly related). One time in May getting up from laying on the beach actually brought me to tears. My OB said that it's the uterus pushing back and causing that pain. She basically said it would wax and wain the whole pregnancy, which has been the case for me. She recommended heat/ice, massage/chiro, and said she could give a PT referral if it got unbearable. I've gotten prenatal massages a few times and that seems to help. I try to foam roll every few days also, but mainly just grin and bear it.
Staying hydrated can help. Muscles are more likely to ache when you are dehydrated. The doctor has me drinking 96 oz (12 eight ounce glasses) of non caffeinated beverages a day.
Prior to pregnancy I have never seen a chiro, but my hip/sacroiliac/tailbone pain got to be pretty excruciating around 21 weeks and I've been seeing one on a weekly basis since. It's been immensely helpful for me.
Find one that specializes in the webster method (prenatal care) and you'll be fine!
This happened to me too. It started about 9 weeks but was bearable until about 21 weeks, which is when I saw the chiropractor. I had weekly massages until about 32ish weeks and adjustments once or twice a month. Best thing ever.
He wasn't webster certified, we don't have anyone who is in my town.
