My dream during my nap was about a Music Together song. What happened to me?!
Ha! I just remembered that I had a dream this morning where H threw me off of a four level walking bridge, just so he could save me and look like a hero. Apparently the weird pregnancy dreams have begun.
I'm watching a cheesy hallmark Christmas movie, in July. And they're having some Christmas countdown? DH and my dad went to bed and my mom was reading down in the other living room.

I'm spent. It's been a long day at the slash pad and meeting friends. DS was good but insisted on me laying in his crib with him at nap. I can't do the bed sharing thing much longer.
I told DH I'm going to bed now (830 pm) and he was like "yeah! You deserve it! Get some rest!!" Which means "I want to watch TV and play Xbox by myself."
My dream during my nap was about a Music Together song. What happened to me?!
I want to know what song! I'll join you on the what happened to me bench.
It's one where you repeat after the teacher. Something like, "bump bidee bidee bump bump bidee bidee bump. " Now that I'm *trying* to think of it I can't but singing it as I sleep is no problem I guess.
Exciting night of laundry over here. I ran a bunch of errands today and was actually pretty productive.
Tomorrow after nap we're headed to the lake and I've got our bags all packed and ready to go, except for our new Costco beach towels that are in the dryer. I can't wait!
Oh! Can anyone recommend some good sandals for an active toddler? I bought some from Stride Rite that are leather and basically like his shoes but with holes. His feet smell absolutely disgusting when he takes them off. I need a different solution!
This is why i don't do those kinds of sandals. I mean they smell because the get are a sweaty mess so i never get how they are cooler. We do sneakers with socks in the summer, water shoes when necessary, and flip flops when doing casual walks where toe injury risk is minimal.

I bought him new sneakers at the same time as the sandals, but he apparently loves not wearing socks and refuses to wear them. I have to pry the sandals away from him and he thinks it's hilarious that his feet smell "icky" and "ewww!"
I don't understand people who don't drink coffee. What about its deliciousness are they missing??
It's why I have to always side eye karinothing LOLOLOL. Non coffee drinker!!!
Ha. I think it does not taste good sans sugar, chocolate, and milk...and maybe whipped cream. But aside all that it upsets my stomach and makes me feel like my heart is going to explode. Not very delicious.

FIL has proposed his trip to us; it's awesome but expensive and on the other side of the world. We would love to go, but it's a lot of $$$. It's in three years, we are considering leaving our boys with my parents. It would make the trip more enjoyable and less expensive too.
But it's a 14, maybe 17 day trip with travel. That would be a lot for my parents. We need to think about this.
I abandoned my fruit skewers idea and just did a simple fruit tray. I'll put fruit dip in the middle tomorrow once I get there. This is easier to make and transport and this way I'm not assembling things once I get there.
The pineapple and angel food cake are little stars.

Going to my sisters lakehouse tomorrow. It's always super fun but bringing food is like the matrix. If I bring too much, she says, "well remember we have food here too" and if I just bring a few things, I feel like a slacker. She's my sister and I can talk to her about some things--but food for the lake is tricky.
We had a frustrating nursing day but after pumping twice he's staying latched now. Hopefully the engorgement was the issue and that's mostly gone now.
Glad nursing got better towards the end of the day. If you didn't know, you can let down into a burp cloth and then try to latch him. That helped when I was really engorged and it was hard for DS to latch or when my milk was flying out of there.

Having a pre-dinner lemon drop martini while I wait for the pizza. Success rate for our first day PTing was 50%. I'll take it.
We invited our Bible study over for a BBQ tomorrow, not really expecting anyone to be free. I guess everyone was waiting around for an invite because they're all coming! It should be fun, I just get anxious about how DS1 will behave. Crowds can be pretty overwhelming for him.
We have such a Sophie's choice on bedtime these days. Either it takes an hour and it goes okay but we're busted, or we start our later, it takes 20 minutes and is full of tears.
The Ben & Jerry's Cookie Core ice cream is AMAZING.
I'm really upset with myself. I cannot get my wedding band off of my finger. I stopped wearing them earlier this week and for whatever reason, decided to put them on today. I used a ton of soap and cold water to get my engagement ring off, but my finger is so red and swollen, now, there's no way I'm getting my wedding band off. And it really hurts! I think its officially time to have them resized.
In other news, DS has a mild case of hand foot & mouth, but we're not taking any chances. So, we're skipping the 2 parties this weekend and just doing simple things as DS' temperament permits. He seems to be ok, but I don't want to jump the gun and realize he's miserable. This kid always seems to get sick on holidays.

This stuff is awesome. I will never stop recommending it. Get the sandals non-stinky (wash or baking soda+sun), then use this on his feet.

Google the dental floss ring removal trick. It was the only thing that finally worked after many other attempts to get mine off when my fingers swelled. I was convinced it would have to be cut off but dental floss saved the day! I hope you're able to remove it!
