We found out Tuesday we are having a girl. I went shopping Wednesday for fabric and fell in love with this fabric so I had to go back and buy it. I need helping finding a twin comforter for the daybed and curtains(would prefer black out/thermal). I'm debating buying a gold lamp and curtain rod. We are wanting to do vinyl polka dots on the crib wall instead of painting. Probably do her name on that wall. I'm thinking a shelf above the dresser/changing pad area with the fierce sign. I'm not sure what to do above the daybed.suggestions?
You may want to place the shelf over the changing table really high if your DD gets up in the middle of you changing her diaper. Ours just turned one and will decide to stand up in the middle of a diaper change if the mood suits her.
We have some good navy colored blackout curtains from target that work great. I was even able to split one and see it to the other two because our windows are so wide. Unless the curtains are right next to the fabric, the color might not be obvious. On my screen I could barely tell they were different.
So, I re read your post, what are you using those fabrics for? Crib? Decor? Curtains?
Congrats! I love all of that fabric. What are you going to use it for? Maybe you could use one for the curtains with a blackout panel behind it. That's what we did for our nursery. I had picked out a bunch of solid quilting fabrics and we used one for the the curtains. Never got around to the black out part but our DD doesn't seem to need them. We have wrap around curtain rods as well. DH made them out of copper piping and we spray painted them.
What color are the walls going to be? What about a rug/flooring? The curtains are the largest piece of fabric in a room so they can have a big impact on the overall look. In comparison the bedding & crib skirt are tiny.
We did some modified Ikea shelves over the changing table. We have a long dresser for a changing table so we put shelving on one side and kept the part over the changing pad open with a big picture above.
We have some gold/brass accents in the room as well. The floor lamp (Ballards), side table (Urban Outfitters), Ikea shelf brackets (spray painted), lighting hardware (spray painted), mirror (Pottery Barn Kids), original hardware on the dresser, and a few trinkets on the shelves. We still have a mix of ORB and brass because we use ORB a lot throughout the rest of the house. So things like the door & closet door hardware, curtain rod, and curtain rings are ORB so they will go with any future room decor.
I'd also recommend some non-overhead lighting. We use the lamp on the changing table more than any other light in the room (turns on with a switch near the door). It puts out just enough light to see what you're doing without waking up DD and you any more than you have to be.
ETA: OK some pictures would help...
I loved this fabric we used for the crib skirt but you can barely see it.

The chevron will be the crib skirt. The strip and the polka dot are crib sheets. One print will be a boppy cover. And one print will be a changing pad cover and a cushion for my rocker. I got a gold pleather for an ottoman pouf that is a knock off from land of nod

I was thinking if I couldn't find curtains I'd just make them so they match. IKEA has black out panels for cheap. I love the wrap around idea. The walls are staying a whitish color since it's a rental but we are thinking about doing polka dots on the wall in vinyl. I wanted all gold but DH vetoed but okay multi color to match the fabric. I'm debating making a bed skirt for the daybed out of one of the fabrics...I thought I'd put a plain pink comforter on it.
