Had a great workout tonight, and after two different sets of company in less than two weeks, I'm spent.
On a positive, we called our mortgage company today because we had a lot extra in escrow. We had a flood insurance adjustment last year that was never adjusted. The guy said looks like we will be getting a check back for a couple thousand and our mortgage will most likely be lowered by $200-$300. And they should be able to do it in the next week, maybe two but definitely before our August mortgage payment. Yay!
Omg J will not go to sleep. I put him down about a half hour ago, and he just keeps screaming. He has a cup of water and I just drugged him. Go to sleep dude!
It's so hot in our house because MH didn't turn the air on last night like I asked. So today I only noticed when I was super late already. So the house sat in the 80 degree weather, yuck. And the ac went out at my office, so I've been hot all day. I was enjoying the 65-70 degree summer, thank you.
Macchu Picchu? Petra and/or the Pyramids? Abu Simbel? China? A safari in Africa?
WHAT IS THE BUCKET LIST TRIP?!
No, although I totally recommend Petra and the Pyramids.?
It's a trip to HK (one of my fav countries) for a few days followed by going to Indonesia for eight days at a private diving resort that we would have to take a private charter to get to ending with a couple days in Bali.
The resort looks amazing and we want to go. I think we might leave our kids with my parents and enroll them in day camp. He's looking at the trip in three years, so they will be old enough to stay with my parents.
Trips looks like for just DH and I would be between $13-$15k. To bring the boys would be an additional $6k or so.
The price for just DH and I is more than our wedding! It's his bucket list trip...

3 years?? and you are even debating. Set up a jar start throwing money in it now :-) And didn't you just post you will saving $300 a month in your mortgage? There is 9k right there. Indonesia and Bali are amazing. Stop thinking about it. Once in a life time, once in a life time...... It is a lot of money but you have 3 years - it seems doable.
Pretty sure my pelvis is being torn in two. Any suggestions on how to alleviate pain other than having a baby? Only hurts when baby moves.
Chiropractor and warm baths.
I feel like a chiro would be odd. I mean it feels like it is right at my cervix, like the pain i feel is where my bikini line is. I am not sure i feel comfortable with as chiro adjusting that area. But maybe that is because i don't get how it would work lol. The outside of my hips and what not feel fine. I think the baby must be engaged...but i will find out tomorrow!

We picked up an exersaucer off Craigslist tonight and so far DS is a fan. We didn't have one for DD but DS rolls around so much that we had to find another containment device besides the jumperoo for when we need to get something done. DD hardly rolled so this stage is uncharted territory for us!

Hmm... I hadn't thought of it like that. My gut says we will go, and it's enough time to save, but it's more than our wedding. It's a trip we would love to do and would mean the world to DH's Dad. We think we would leave our boys with my parents, I'm a bit nervous about that idea, but they will be old enough and I'm sure my parents would love the change. We have loosely talked about them watching the boys so we can travel (Mt. Kilimanjaro in five years).
So we are gearing up to watch a recording of one of the Dead shows and we had said we were going to watch the second California show. DH is having problems getting it to load and we have the following conversation.
DH: oh screw it. Let's watch Chicago instead. Me: um, okay. I guess. A little random..
If took me forever to figure out he meant the shows played in Chicago. Not Chicago, the musical.
DH just bought about $2000 worth of gym equipment for just under $1000 on Craigslist. He is so grateful that I agreed to spend the money (weightlifting is 1 of his 3 hobbies) but I'm also excited because it will make working out easier for me.
We used to foster dogs all the time before having DD but stopped when she was born. The perfect foster just came along so we're going to start again. We're being really picky with who we will foster because of DD but it's going to feel so good to have a 3rd dog in the house!

Ditto the chiro & epsom salt baths! Also sleep & rest with a pillow between your knees.
The chiro isn't going to be pressing on your public bone so it's way less awkward than it sounds. Just make sure they are webster method certified.

You are brave! 2 dogs and a toddler is totally overwhelming to me.

Ha but what will they do. I need descriptions! I mean my pelvis is doing what it is supposed to be doing, which is moving apart so baby can move through. So how to they change that or help it? Chiros confuse me.
@lolligoespop my dd1 comes up with crazy names too. Princess I-AY-LA is her favorite. I will not be asking her for suggestions when I have to name another kid.
Our babysitter is out of town this week and it blows. My partner and I caravaned our vans and took turns running errands while the other person stayed outside watching the cars. We treated the kids to CiCi's and they lost their minds. Did you know that 3 people (2 of which were under 3) can eat there AND have bottled water for $7? We were living large. lol.
H and I are self imposing a no drinking during the week rule. This sucks, I want my wine. H was joking his mouth was watering thinking about wine lol.
We actually stuck to this for a few months awhile back and Dh lost ten pounds and we saved $$$$$$$. Embarrassing. Also our recycling bin was really empty lol.

I had pain in the area between my tailbone and pelvic bone as everything was trying to spread. The chiro had a little hammer he tapped on my lower back kind of between my hips and it relieved all that pain. The only way I can describe it is that the bones were trying to move, but were caught and that tap released them so they could spread. Such sweet relief.

I can only describe what mine did when I was pf with DS1 and had pretty bad PGP. -I would lie on my side with the bottom leg straight and the top knee bent (foot tucked behind bottom knee). She placed 1 hand on my back and one on my hip and pressed. Repeated on the other side. -stand in front of her with my hands behind my neck and some kind of weird hug thing. -and some massage
Day 1 of solo parenting is over. 11 More to go. DD1 will have an xray on her arm tomorrow. Hopefully it is healing and she wont need surgery. My house is a mess and I am not sure I will make it through the next 11 days. Baby still refuses solids except for a midnight feeding of yogurt.

Those two things are our motivation to do it. I made it through one night, I can do it!
I was $250 in vouchers for Ticketmaster buying Papa Johns last weekend. We are going as a family of 4 to Sporting KC later this month. E and I have never been!
