Dd1 is anal like her dad, maybe that's why she doesn't waste sunscreen!
Lol DH HATES lotion or sunscreen so we have to use the expensive spray for him so it doesn't feel like lotion. DS gets that from him he hates the feel of lotion too. Kids pick up weird traits from their parents.
There are soooo may things that are bad for the envronment. I do many many things to be green and Eco friendly so I wouldn't sweet aerosol sunscreen. Is that a shitty attitude? Don't care
Not that it really matters, but I don't not use it because if the environment. It's because it's not good for me or my kids, in my opinion.
We all have things we make choices about regarding being eco friendly.
Wow. Spray sunscreen really does float around. i thought I had re-clicked in the same thread.
I'm too afraid to take my kids to a pool by myself. Splash pads for the win.
I think it would be easier than you think as long as there's a baby pool. But we have no nearby splash pads, so my opinion is colored by that.
DS is a serious runner, and DD ALWAYS runs the other way. Seriously, we went to the library the other day and the librarian had to help me round up DD because she bolted the other way while I was chasing DS. DD also knows how to unbuckle things like carseats and stroller, so there's no containing her.
We stop on the side of the road a lot to rebuckle her.

In that case I wouldn't take them either I bet next summer will be 100 times better.

Mine are newly 2 and 5 and this is the first summer I could take them by myself. Well that's not true, the last 2 summers I took them to the wading pool. But that's sooo much easier than a real pool.

God I hope so. I'm at the point where I only go somewhere with another mom/dad, and only if I know them well enough to not judge me when DS runs. Or I can throw DD at them (or in the case of older kids, their kid) and chase him.
Thankfully, we have a pretty big, fenced in back yard with a swingset and a decent blow up pool.

Gtg seriously. We have the same but I bet it's different they could entertain themselves for hours!!!

Uh yea, I probably wouldn't go either!
I don't have runners...yet. I don't know what I would do if I couldn't go to the pool. Hopefully next summer will be better.
