He's a manager for a logistics company. His site specializes in food service logistics, so his warehouse team stores and loads/unloads frozen and dry goods that are transported to restaurants up and down the east coast, like Ruth's Chris, The Melting Pot, PF Changs, Bob Evans, Moe's, Red Robin, etc. I think they just got a contract for Chipotle too.
If a pallet comes in damaged, the trucking companies usually have to reject it (even when the items themselves aren't damaged, just the pallets). They used to have a policy where employees could take things home if they wanted to, so sometimes H would bring home Ruth's Chris filets and bags of rice or pasta, and a couple of times those mini desserts from PF Changs, lol. Then the rest would be donated to charity and food banks. Now they've changed the policy to where all of it is donated. One time he brought home 2 big boxes of Bertolli EVOO. I didn't have to buy any for like a year and half.
Mine is a live sound engineer/audio visual consultant. He's worked with celebs and presidents, and we've gotten to see world famous bands up close.
Similar to this, but he does video and, while he works with celebs and politicians, it's more in a corporate setting. I don't really get to see anything he does now, though. He used to a TV camera guy in LA and that was fun for me (meeting celebs, parties, FREEBIES!)

Narcotics compliance coordinator for a hospital. He basically audits all narcotics usage and looks for trends to make sure things are handled properly and/or catch people stealing narcotics.
His degree is in construction management but he works for a disaster recovery company. When a home or business has a flood, mold problem, or fire they fix the problem and restore the home. They also do carpet cleaning on the side and he manages that side of the business.

There are some douchey DH's in here. I'm looking at you women who are married to (1) the wanna-be narc; and (2) the guy who dresses up even though his superiors don't because he is *so* much more professional than they are.
My DH is a lawyer. Probably a more interesting lawyer than I am. Definitely a nicer one.
