I had to take the tracking number and look it up on the UPS website to see specific package details. That's where I saw the package weight. Everything else connected to the order still says 1 box/12 tubes....including the order description that is attached to the email that I sent the company.Â
Yes me too. I looks on ups to see the weight. On Amazon it shows 8 as that's what it was advertised as when I bought it. Ups shows the weight :-)
The seller missed out on a good p.r. opportunity. For not a ton of $ in the long run, they could have gained some future customers if they noticed the mistake, fixed it, but still honored the price/quantity as advertised. I'd be more likely to order from them in the future. They should fulfill the orders correctly and write it off as an p.r. cost.
That's what I was thinking labbie. Between their email to lori and trying to blame it on Amazon, I am not impressed. At the very least, they need to refund our money & not inconvenience anyone by making us ship the crap back. I hate the post office, damn it!
runblondie26, LOL!!! Please update us when it arrives.
Years ago I scored a Kitchen Aid mixer for $149 due to a misprint in a Lowe's ad. They honored the price, even to the extent of ordering me one when they got sold out of them. So guess where we've been buying tons of home improvement stuff in the years since? Yeah- we spent waaay more than the couple hundred bucks I saved on that mixer, lol!

You know what they say about a deal that seems to good to be true, but I did have hopes this would be legit. Since NUUN is switching to a new formula, it doesn't seem outlandish that a seller would be trying to liquidate the old stuff for cheap.

See, this was my same train of thought. I kept rechecking the link, to see if it had changed. I figured if it was a mistake, they would have caught it when they were packaging everything. It looks like it was up for a couple of days before they caught it.
ETA: lb2006, I have laughed several times already, over the fact that a nuun post is up to 3 pages.
Is this a big company? On one level, I feel kinda bad for them - whoever f*ed up the amazon listing really f*ed up. I'm sure like six million runners like us jumped all over this and Amazon is the type of marketplace that wouldn't even really generate traffic on their site or store from it.
So I would kind of understand if they felt they couldn't absorb the loss and just cancelled orders- but to just go ahead and ship everyone a single tube is a ridiculous solution just making everything worse. Now in addition to pissing a bunch of people off, they are going to be out a LOT of shipping and possible a bunch of free NUUN tubes if they decide they don't want them back.
Also - how the hell did they not catch it for a few days?! Did they not notice the sudden and odd uptick in orders for that particular flavor of NUUN?

Except I paid 5.99 for shipping. If I hadn't paid for shipping, I wouldn't even be mad, since the price of the tube is the normal price.

Not huge, not small? A quick google search lists annual revenue at 10-25 mil. They've been around for 40 yrs.
ETA: Yes, if they had caught it before shipping, I would not have been mad.

Exactly - they are going to have to refund everyone's full orders including shipping - so they are now not only going to piss people off but also eat a ton of shipping costs since they decided to just go ahead and mail everyone's packages. Either they are really dumb or really disorganized.
Also, I call bullshit on their Amazon messed up the listing. The listing had an original price that was normal and then it was marked to sale. Fuck these guys if they don't make it right. It's like the damn Revel people blaming the bus company...no. Your name is on the invoice, you are responsible.

Grrr. My 3 boxes tubes should come today. Y'all are right, this is totally their fault, not Amazon's. They should've cancelled the orders if they couldn't afford to honor them. And I'll be damned if I pay to ship them back when I've already paid to ship them here.
No response to my last email yet. I wonder if they're realizing how fucked they'll be if they don't handle this the right way...
No response to mine either. I definitely think they are realizing how big this is, with all of the emails that are starting to come in. Plus, I warned them. LOL
I emailed them and started my email with "I'm adding my email to the influx of emails you have likely already received about this."
What are you all wanting them to do? Refund your whole purchase? Not make you pay to ship back if you return?
I'm not shipping anything back. They better not even suggest that. What I WANT is my box of Nuun. LOL What would seem reasonable, is if they refund everyone's money & eat the loss. What will somewhat satisfy my annoyance, is if they just refund the shipping.
Amazon just emailed me that they proceeded to refunding my order.
Did you get yours already? I was thinking about waiting for mine to come before contacting amazon and the seller... I figured if I emailed amazon before receiving it and personally seeing what shipped, they'd just tell me to wait for delivery before filing something.

Did you even contact the company? I followed the link from the order to report a problem. I got a confirmation saying someone from Nashbar would contact me, but that's it.
