Are you looking for beach/warmness? Anything else in particular? I live in Seattle and I think it's a good time to come here if you don't mind the weather. It's emptier and will be greener (assuming our drought ends by then). It's also a nice time for NYC.
Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime. Mark Twain
Turks & Caicos or St. Thomas. Both easy to get to, both have lots of hotel options for you. I think you may be priced out of Beaches on T&C, but it's supposed to be awesome for families. The Marriott on St. Thomas has a nice spot on the beach and seems like it would be good for kids. I've been to both islands in Nov. and had great trips. It can get a little breezy, but it's still great swimming weather.
