Parenthood. I haven't watched since I was sure Christina was going to be okay after cancer. Every now and then I'd check in on the Parenthood thread here, and that was enough for me to keep the characters around.

I'm bad at quitting shows after I've watched a full season. If I stop watching, it's usually because I'm either lazy (Supernatural and Pushing Daisies - someday I'll finish those!) or it just didn't hold my interest (How to Get Away With Murder, Resurrection)
I tried to quit Pretty Little Liars in the beginning of season 5, but then started watching when it was available on Netflix #sucker

We bailed on New Girl and Downton Abbey this past season.
I still need to finish Breaking Bad. I didn't stop because I disliked it. I just stopped when it didn't seem appropriate to watch with DS around and never started again. Actually there are probably a lot of shows that I stopped midway through for no good reason. I guess I ha e trouble committing.
I couldn't get through more than a few episodes of Friday Night Lights.
I stopped OUAT, mostly because I ended up two seasons behind and couldn't seem to get going again...And that was like 3 seasons ago. I really liked the first two or three seasons. I might go back to that one.
Mad Men– I was playing catch-up in 2010 when Netflix still had it only on DVD. My ex and I would bolt down each am to the mail guy in the lobby to return + order the new one. Then my Sunday night lineup got too big & it took forever to come back one time. Oh and the ex left too. Though I watched the last episode or if it was on AMC at 6am.
Awkward —I just lost track when she hooked up with the other guy even though she HAD Matty!
Private Practice—due to extreme suckage.
Grey's- however then I came back and I just can't quit it after 11 years.
Parenthood–I did watch season finale though and cried.
However, Scandal—howwww can you quit that? It's like not knowing the ending to...anything. I however follow tom verica on twitter and use it for teasers since they started filming again, DAMN YOU SHONDA!!!!!
Almost all. My list of shows in adulthood that I was crazy about is shorter. The duration of these shows is much shorter, which helps. Gracepoint, Wayward Pines, and Olive Kitteridge.
