Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
LOL, have you been outside lately? I don't know how much longer I can do this. I'm too delicate for the south.
For reals. We're headed to coastal New England, most likely NH, in the next few years. I don't think that fits your criteria of mild weather, though. But skiing! That wouldn't be so bad right?
I'd choose San Diego if we had family on that coast. Don't you have ties to California already? Move there and tell us all about your great workouts with no humidity

Yes, all of my in-laws are in California H and I lived in Orange County before we moved here in 2006. I always regret that decision from May to September.

This is the best H and I could come up with. It's pretty expensive, right?
Do you have kids? The things that make Seattle metro expensive are child care and housing. But if you don't have kids, then you have a lot more flexibility to find reasonably priced housing. Especially if you're okay with the suburbs/exurbs.
Portland is cheaper to, but there are fewer jobs down there.
Western NC isn't THAT hot, that's the only other place I can come up with.
If i were to go somewherw with those criteria it would be pacific nw for sure.
If money werent an issue, id go to the central coast of ca, where ive never been but ive always thought life would be pretty good in like santa barbara.

niq, I do have kids. They are both school-aged (YAY!), so good public schools are important.
al320, my H grew up about 45 minutes from Santa Barbara, and we say that we are going to retire there - if CA doesn't run out of water in the next 20 years. We will have to eat cat food, but we won't be sweaty!
