We got Mr. P a 20 year term at age 39 for $1 million. We pay $1400/year. He was outside the preferred weight class, as well as a terrible family health history + age, so his premium was considerably higher. This policy will take us to retirement.
ETA: Prudential has more generous "weight" charts, some insurers were way more expensive. We did this through selectquote.com.

20-year term.
Me: $61/mo for $1.5 million. I'm overweight right now but I don't think it affected my rate all that much. DH: $102/mo for $800k. He's obese. Not sure if his age also plays a role (almost 40).
We went through selectquote and these were the lowest rates we got, and they're through William Penn.
I'm obese and I've been getting quotes and am seeing like $50-$75/month for $500K. It sucks.
My h got a quote after a recent medical diagnosis for $459 a month for a 30 year term. We have a 20 year at $56, both for 1 mm. Needless to say, we won't be getting a 30 year policy.
I have a $1M policy that is $80/month. I have had 2 brain tumors, but am otherwise healthy. thay drove up my cost.
H has a $2M policy for $100/month. He is healthy and got the lowest rate available.
Who do you go through? I have crohn's and pay $60/month for a $250k policy when I was 36. DH pays $55/month for s $250k policy but he was a smoker when we got it, he's almost a year at quitting so his rate should go down to $40, he was 34 when we got the policy.
We pay for life insurance though work also. Total is about $750k each
$71/mo for a $1m 30 year term but it's not the best rate available as my cholesterol was slightly high at the time. I should probably request to have blood drawn again because they said if it improved I could lower my cost/rate.
$8 for a $600k employer plan for DH. I hate this plan because it was so cheap it meant we never bought him a private plan before his diagnosis & now we can't.
I also play $5 for a $20k employer plan for DH (largest amount I can get through them with no medical exam).
Our latest one is ~$45/$55 (me/H) for 30 year $1mm. We got it a year ago at 29. The first policy we got was also 30 year $1mm at age 22 but only ~$23 each. Wish we had gotten more when we were younger.
