DS2 is now 1 (so a toddler I think) and I really need new ideas for all meals. I'm also curious how much your toddler eats. DS1 was a picky eater and didn't eat a ton. DS2 seems to love to eat and I'm amazed by how much he can put away.
What did (and will) your toddler eat today? Also, if you have any great dairy-free, soy-free staples, I'd love to know them too. Thanks!

DD is better than she was a few months ago but still nothing to brag about.
Breakfast: Yogurt, banana Lunch: Provided by daycare (today is chicken nuggets day) Snacks: Apple slices, animal crackers Dinner: Turkey, sweet potato and mixed vegetables, none of which she'll eat I'm sure Beverages: Water throughout the day, milk with meals.
So far today: Breakfast-scrambled egg, banana, 1/2 cup of yogurt, milk Snack-1/2 PB sandwich Lunch-chicken beast deli meat rolled in a tortilla, avocado chunks, strawberries, corn, water Snack: string cheese, graham cracker, water
I'm making pork chops, rice, and steamed green beans for dinner. He'll eat a decent amount of pork and rice, but probably won't touch the green beans. I have blueberries to offer him, too. He will have milk.
She mostly eats what we eat, and we mostly eat like kids (lots of spaghetti and burritos in our house), but since she turned one in June we've definitely upped the amount of food, and tried to move beyond just piles of fruit/veg. So she'll get a scoop of pasta salad, or Spanish rice w/beans, or curried veggies with tofu for dinner, with a bunch of random veggies.
We discovered earlier this month that she LOVES pbj sandwiches. She's also a big fan of all shapes of pasta, and lots of stuff with dairy (grilled cheese, quesadilla, etc) so that might be less helpful. Lately her favorite "sides" are beans (black, cannellini, garbanzo), peas, and blueberries. For a quick snack, she gobbles crackers, graham crackers w/ pb, and she LOVES goldfish.
ETA: Today's menu is something like this (she's 14 mo):
Breakfast: pb toast, half a banana, handful of blueberries 2nd Breakfast (dc): chex and pears Lunch (dc): cheese pizza, broccoli, strawberries Snack (dc): crackers w/ raisins 2nd snack: applesauce, cucumber, and string cheese Dinner: spaghetti noodles, broccoli, beans, carrots, and more blueberries
And milk throughout the day, though she usually only drinks about 10-12 oz at the most.
Breakfast: About 1.5 eggs, scrambled 1 bite of a plain mini bagel with cream cheese 4 small strawberries 8 or so cherries A few oz of milk
Snack: A couple of Kix on the way to gymnastics
Lunch: 3/4 of a chicken quesadilla (1 tortilla folded in half, but it was stuffed pretty thick) we were at Torchys Tacos
Dinner: 3/4 piece of Texas Toast (garlic bread) 2-3 IKEA meatballs Lots of peas Very little spaghetti (which is surprising - she normally inhales it) Several more cherries

I don't know yet today (he eats food prepared at daycare for breakfast/lunch, I send snacks only).
Yesterday, he had a hollow-leg day:
Pancake, 1/2 banana and blueberries for breakfast Kids clif bar for morning snack bunny grahams spaghetti and meatballs, peach, spinach for lunch veggie puffs and an applesauce pouch strawberries pork medalion (and entire one), red potatoes and more blueberries for dinner another kids clif bar a mini-ice cream (schwans 40 cal vanilla/choc thing) plus 4 glasses of milk!
2x pancakes (I make a big batch one day, and he eats leftover ones a second day) 2x banana cut up and rolled in crushed Cheerios 1x crescent rolls with hard-boiled egg and cheese 1x banana muffin (I make a full batch, then freeze them individually) 1x bakery croissant with cheese * all of these also include strawberries and blueberries on the side
Lunches are usually one of: - Grilled cheese sandwich - Mini pizzas (topped with green olives) - Mac 'n cheese - Mini quiche (I make a big batch and freeze in pkgs of two) * after lunch he usually has either a cookie or fruit, usually an apple or grapes
Dinners he eats what we eat probably 75% of the time. If it's something I know he won't eat (like fish or chicken), I'll make him either a hard-boiled or scrambled egg or mini quiche instead, or mac 'n cheese if he won't eat any of the meal.
This is an embarrassing area for us. I can't get that kid to eat real, healthy food.
She's had:
one waffle fry a bunch of strawberries 2 blueberries 1 peanut butter cracker
I totally get it. That is my life with DS1 - I think he has eaten the same exact thing for lunch for the last 2 years. This is why I need suggestions for DS2. I don't know what to feed a kid who will actually eat!

T is 2. She eats basically the same thing every day and is picky picky.
Breakfast: a pancake and a few hunks of watermelon
Send to daycare (no idea what she actually eats there): Lunch: mac and cheese with peas or chicken nuggets with peas. The peas are usually sent home. Snacks: strawberries, cut up pear, cheese stick, veggie and fruit pouch
Dinner: we can usually get her to eat a mix of - tiny bit of meat (frozen meatballs), some cottage cheese, prunes, yogurt, peas or broccoli. Sometimes she eats peanut butter off of a spoon.
B: 1/2 hardboiled egg, blueberries S1: kids cookie at Target L: pulled pork, tortilla, strawberries, string cheese S2: goldfish and raisins D: we are having brats, sweet corn and green beans - all things she likes (and will hopefully eat)
B: 3/4 slice of buttered toast, shitloads of dry Cheerios, most of a large banana L: one bite of PBJ on whole grain, approximately three blueberries, an apple/carrot pouch he screamed for, and a cheese stick S: will be some cheddar bunny crackers and some fruit D: With any luck, he'll actually eat 1/2 ear of sweet corn, a slice of margherita pizza and some fruit (blueberries and/or watermelon) for dessert
She has breakfast and lunch at daycare and I have no idea what is served. Dinner will be turkey meatballs, peas, pasta, and as much fruit and yogurt as she'll let me shovel in her mouth. I usually give her a few pieces of a Belvita biscuit to get more calories in her. She eats a little and crumbles the rest up. Sigh.
She loves meat so I do salmon burgers, fish sticks. meatballs, chicken nuggets, and baked chicken. She doesn't seem to like ground beef much. She'll eat pasta and sometimes baked sweet potato chunks. I have baby spoons and forks and sometimes she eats better when you fork something for her and give it to her to feed herself.
I tried chunks of cheese but it was a no go. PB sandwiches don't work because she pulls them apart and plays instead of eats.
pre-breakfast at home: pouch, some blackberries and raspberries breakfast: Carrot Spelt Pancakes with FRESH Banana, Milk & Water lunch: Cream of Chicken & Mushroom Soup with Homemade Focaccia and Steam Garlic Broccoli snack 1: Melon, Berry, Yogurt Fruit Salad snack 2: Kale Chips & Honeydew melon dinner: will probably get ready-made stuff from one of the grocery stores since msniq is out for the night.
daycare says he eats pretty much everything. On the other hand, he poops like four times a day, so ...

B-blueberry waffle and cantaloupe L-whatever daycare has on the menu Snack-Raisins and graham cracker D-sockeye salmon, steamed broccoli, and blackberries
S: veggie chips that a friend made, Edamame, chick peas, red pepper slices, raspberries
L: pasta with cheese, broccoli, zucchini and red pepper; applesauce; 2.5 shortbread cookies with fruit compote
S: crackers
She'll probably have a green smoothie with me this afternoon. We are having leftover cross rib roast and potatoes that I think I'll make into a pie with some peas and carrots.
--
She typically is a good eater but we do have to watch the radio of fruit: other food.
J is 3 - B: 1.5 ww blueberry waffles with sunbutter 2 Applegate chicken sausages almond milk
Snack: banana, peach, coconut, and prune pouch
L: rest of waffle 1 piece deli ham some undressed broccoli slaw with broccoli, carrots, and red cabbage. A few bites of carrots, peas, green bean veggie mixture (may have just bitten them and not swallowed)
Snack: clementine and 4 earths best letter of the day cookie things
Dinner: chicken Schwarma sandwhiches - grilled chicken, pita bread, tomato, lettuce, red cabbage. Sweet potato fries. The kids had their sandwhiches deconstructed.
He drank almond milk with his meals and water all day.
Girls are 16 mos and each had the following: nursed when they woke up and at 1130am. Will nurse again before bed. B: ww blueberry waffle with coconut butter 1 Applegate chicken sausage banana
Snack: broccoli, pea, spinach, and apple pouch
Lunch: 1/2 piece of ww with sunbutter 1 piece of deli ham undressed broccoli slaw and the same veggies j had clementine unsweetened applesauce
Snack: cantaloupe and a couple of the cookie things
Dinner: same as J plus some unsweetened coconut milk yogurt.
They will all likely have half a graham cracker before we go upstairs for bed.
Eta: J ate very little dinner. Some chicken and his half pita. The girls ate all the chicken and pita bread (1/4 piece) and most veggies.
These posts always make me sad. DD is such a picky eater and we cannot get her to eat more. She is 2 1/2 Today she has had: milk with instant breakfast powder peanut butter sandwich yogurt raisins half a graham cracker applesauce slice of cheese
I am hoping to get a banana and yogurt into her by the end of the night. Lately she has been eating a second pb sandwich some days too. Ugh.
I am sick and cannot face making dinner (and H is out of town), so I think dinner will be whatever I can get at a drive thru. Probably Panera mac n cheese and yogurt tube.
I need to update that he ate the following dinner: Two hot dogs (no buns) with ketchup Minigo yogurt Small breakfast cookie thing Baby carrots and cucumbers with ranch dressing Some cereal He cried when he finished the hot dogs and the yogurt.
This is amazing. I think this is our future. For dinner tonight DS2 ate:
Banana Some strawberries and Pineapples 4 Dr Praeger Spinach Bites (or that's as close to the name as I remember) Puree of Strawberry/Broccoli/Carrot Some Cheerios Some Fruit Melts --> I know I need meat in here but he didn't want the chicken I offered. Not a chicken fan.
He seemed done so I took him out of his high chair. He burst into tears when he saw DS1 eating a banana and followed him around and took bites.
Breakfast: 4 mini lego waffles. Ate one bite of one.1/4 Applesauce pouch Lunch: The veggies out of cheesey soup and crackers. Mainly ate crackers Dinner: chicken, potatoes, greenbeans, kiwi. He went to town on the potato (yay, sour cream!) and now DD is teaching him to dip his chicken in honey so hopefully he eats a bit more.
And a whole ton of Honeycomb cereal. He likes it in his snack cup today apparently.
Oh and 2 mini popsicles (it's hot. He's not feeling the best. I was worried about dehydration. Or you know, See sister, want sister's treats. Ha)>

My 3yo is incredibly picky but eats those dozen items like a boss.
Breakfast: Banana, scrambled egg with cheese, cereal bar Snack: goldfish, raisins, part of an apple, Clif kid bar Lunch: Mac and cheese, cheese stick, veggie pouch Snack: banana #2, pretzels.
He'll likely have yogurt, PBJ or a Pediasure at some point today as well. This combination of foods is basically repeated every single day.
