Ansley wore my ass out today. She was sick for like 3 seconds and then drove me batty the rest of the day. I'm so tired. I also have my NT scan tomorrow afternoon, so I'm freaking out a bit. I'll feel so much better about all of this once I see a heartbeat again and a wiggling baby. H can't go with me, so that's nerve wracking too.
I had an interview today. I've been at my current job for 9ys, and haven't been happy here for awhile. This opportunity literally fell in my lap, and it will be no weekends, about 15k more per year, better hours, and something I will hopefully enjoy. It went really well. He said he's going to put together an offer by the end of the week for me. I'm excited, but scared to change jobs.

I just told my parents yes to Universal/Disney for the end of November. They're planning on most of the stay being at Universal, which I'm ridiculously excited for (Harry Potter nerd!!), but I'm hoping Emerson likes Universal. Although I'm sure the whole vacation will thrill her, this will be her first vacation!
My kids were super whiney this afternoon/tonight. I just got DS down, one left to go. Worst thing is I'm laying off the booze for a bit to get my weight down to an acceptable level.
vthokie - good luck tomorrow! blane12 - that sounds awesome!! I made a similar change about a year ago and I have never once regretted it. ladybug - the blue is my favorite. Pretty mama!
Anyone want to help me choose between two different paints? DH and I are trying to decide between two Behr greys, Lunar Surface and Silver Bullet, for our guest bathroom. I know which one I like, but I wonder if they're both too dark? Ahhhhhhh! Picking paint never ends well or quickly for me. Says the person who bought 4 different gallons of "cream" paint and still ended up with a Big Bird yellow room.
mlkgls - that's reassuring to hear. It's a solid company, and I'll be taking on more responsibility. I think I'll be happier, but the unknown is slightly scary
And I'm no help with paint colors. I'm terrrrible picking paint!
I'm exhausted. Jeff had a work event this evening, so I thought Blake and I would have a fun little night together. We were going to go to target and pick out his new backpack and lunchbox for school, then go to a little pizza place down the road for dinner.
He absolutely flipped his shit about the time we got to the far back corner of target. NOTHING provoked this-he just freaked out started screaming at the top of his lungs and trying to jump out of the cart. I managed to wrangle him back into to cart, thrashing and screaming, and went directly to the exit. It was 102 degrees outside and we had to park super far away. When we got to the car I literally had to manhandle him and basically lay on top of him for the 10 minutes it took to finally get him in his car seat. We were both dripping sweat and crying by the time we made it out of the parking lot and he was absolutely inconsolable for at least another half hour because he wanted to go back to Target.

silver bullet is my fave, but I'd still lighten by at least 25% and maybe 50% for a small space like that

I made chicken nuggets and fries for the kids tonight. I've never given A ketchup simply because I don't feel like dealing with the inevitable mess. Tonight he took matters into his own hands and attacked Daniels plate when he left it too close (we were having a picnic in the tv room). Evidently he loves ketchup. @therealmc you should close your eyes now, picture to follow!
