Good morning! Sorry for the two week hiatus. Travels were great.
I am very thankful for the delicious coffee I'm drinking right now. I am also thankful to get back to normal workouts in the early hours with a friend next week. I'm thankful for an upcoming weekend of little fun things with my family like the children's museum and playdates.
I'm thankful for a supportive husband. He will be on kid duty at home while I go for a week long trip to NY for a half marathon in October. He also made a huge effort Sunday with accompanying me on a trail run. He didn't run it but he was there and took some pics of those of us who did run as we left and when we came back.
I'm thankful that I have a group of friends who enjoy running (they're my CF friends as well). We all have different paces but we have been getting together to trail run and it's been so much fun meeting each other throughout the run at different points and laughing and enjoying the morning.
I'm thankful I have the drive to wake up at the butt crack of dawn (well, not even that because it's still dark) to go for runs.
I'm thankful for this board. It keeps me going when I don't want to go anymore. Reading everyone's accomplishments motivates me to push myself. Thank you all. I have been apart of other H&F FB groups and boards but I always end up leaving them because they don't do anything for me. I need people who are interested in what I am interested in. I need people that have accomplished things I never dreamed of accomplishing to tell their stories and motivate me to get out there and hit my goals. I need people who are serious about H&F. This is the only place I have found that.

I'm thankful for my coworker who is super into getting steps and walking/working out. Even though we only walk together, it still makes it easier to make healthy choices at work, and having a mid-day walking buddy is awesome!
I'm thankful DH and I both found good jobs in Portland. When we decided to move, neither of us had one lined up here so I'm really relieved things worked out
I'm thankful that I found my other Balega after it's been missing for like 3 weeks. It was stuck on some velcro on a jacket in the closet. I bumped into the jacket and it fell off. I did a happy dance!!
Thankful for sunny weather today to bale straw! And I'm so grateful we got a quick getaway up north. I learned I love national forests and maybe I could learn to be decent at running trails. Now I just need them closer to me.
I'm thankful that my husband is safely in his 3rd destination of the week.
I'm thankful for my happy, healthy children. I'm also thankful that I'm not on my own with them every week. I'm thankful that school & fall activities start soon.
I get to add another. I'm thankful my job duties will be cut down because I will be transferring to a different facility (on paper, I get to physically stay where I am). This is a huge relief but I know in the transition it will be crazy with everyone calling me and trying to figure out what they should be doing.
I'm thankful that H hasn't been traveling much lately. Even with a week of vacation in July I worked out about the same number of hours that I did in June!
