I am sorry, I know how bad you feel but it was an accident. I dropped my cell phone on Lillian's face when she was probably 5 months old and felt so horrible telling daycare how she got the mark on her. Lillian rolled off my bed a couple months ago and busted her mouth open, had a line of a bruise from the edge of the bed.
You are a great mom! They are just getting so wiggly. Luke tried to worm himself out of his RNP yesterday and also leaned forward and face planted on the carpet from MY LAP. While we were all reading. Stinkers!

Don't be hard On yourself.
Zoey flipped out of her swing 1.5 months ago. It wasn't moving. I had stopped it and ran to pee. She scooted out and flipped face down. It was the middle of the night. I panicked. She fell on the bar of the swing and her blanket was on the bar so it was a soft fall but now I always buckle her in everything. Houdini. She was face down and screaming. Ugh worst night ever.
Don't be so hard on yourself. It's crazy trying to keep just one safe and completely over the top to keep TWO or more safe.
E fell and got a huge knot and scrape on her forehead just yesterday! And today I was taking a shower only to have L bring me the disheveled iPad cover removed from the IPad and my brain is so fried I can't remember if I removed all the little magnets from the cover ! I remember removing them but not how many. :/ ugh.

Poor baby and mama! I'm glad she's ok. Babies and kids are crazy, they will stop at nothing to hurt themselves, it seems. I know it made you feel like the worst but you are far from it.
You poor thing How did it happen? I ask because I NEVER strap C into his seats and just assume these little baby blobs aren't going anywhere.
Ugh, she has really started to reach for toys. We'll I got out of the shower and moved the seat closer to the tub because of my tiny bathroom. My back was turned to her and she lunged to grab a hanging toy and just smack her face on the tub instead. She's not very long so she probably just didn't have the length to grab the toy.
She's fine now thankfully. I totally learned my lesson.
