bigapple My mom called Henry Moon Pie when I was pregnant before we picked a name for him. She bought me one of them to eat because I'd never had one. It wasn't good.
Pot luck today at work. All I can think of is assflakes, thanks guys! My assflake contribution was Pineapple Upside Down Cake! Mmmm. H had me make two, one for work and one for home.
Jamie was getting in my way and being generally annoying trying to get himself wet while I watered the plants. So I turned around and full on sprayed him. I'm not sure if it was the wisest parenting move, but the look on his face was priceless

Andrew got "kicked out" of the Ikea smaland today. (Not really, but after I got called back for the second time to talk to him, I made him leave) My little juvenile delinquent kept throwing balls out of the ball pit.

Earlier today, I told W it was hard to sit down and play in her toy room when she leaves toys all over the floor. She just sighed and said, "ugh, tell me about it!"
My random random for the day is that I was listening to the radio earlier and they were playing some 90s dancehall. Crude stuff. And one of the song is a lady 'singing' about how she doesn't want a quick man, she wants a 1, 2, 3 hour 'slam'.
I just spend $100 for classroom supplies and got: 13 baskets for my books. I'm going back in a couple of days after I give them a chance to restock 60 folders 60 notebooks 30 wood rulers (why are the wooden ones cheaper than plastic??) 30 bottles of glue with glue sticks 12 packages of markers 4 packages of crayons 5 huge erasers 5 packages of pencil top erasers and 2 pencil cups
I'd call that a good haul. Total I spent 44 cents per item.
There was a sign a few miles back for Jersey Shore. My geography sucks, but I'm fairly sure that's not in the dead center of Pennsylvania.
My H had an uncle who lived up near there and Jersey Shore made me laugh every single time we drove by. I think I'm going to have to google the history of that town and report back.
Jersey Shore was originally named Waynesburg by the two brothers, Reuben and Jeremiah Manning, who laid out the town circa 1785.[3] Around the time that this was happening, a settlement arose on the eastern side of the West Branch Susquehanna River (Nippenose Township), opposite Waynesburg. A rivalry developed between the two settlements, and those on the eastern shore began referring to the settlement on the western shore as the "Jersey Shore," because the Manning family had relocated from New Jersey. The nickname became so fixed that in 1826 the original name of Waynesburg was officially abandoned and changed to Jersey Shore.[4]
There is a Green Peace protest going on right now in my city and I am fascinated with it!! They are trying to stop an ice breaking ship from getting up to Alaska for oil drilling. There are like 15 people hanging from a bridge on the river so the ship can't get through. Green Peace said each one of them have enough supplies to hang there for 4 days. 4 DAYS!! It's supposed to be 102 today and 100 tomorrow. I have so many questions. How do they go to the bathroom? What are they eating? How do they have enough water for 4 days? Are they going to sleep?

Thank you! You helped me further bore my car mates! I've been torturing them with useless factoids for hours.
