We are having my nephew over for a sleepover (he is 5) and the sibling like arguing has just begun. And how convenient my dh had to work tonight which I didn't realize when I made the plans.
Today I almost hit a guy on a bike because he was texting while riding his bike toward traffic with no helmet. I was driving and he was looking down and almost rode right into me. I can't stop thinking about it, I was so shaken up!
Also I gave my neighbor (who is my friend but she's been rude lately, we used to be closer) a bunch of perennials about 5 years ago, they have grown a lot and she kind of let them get all weedy and crazy. Her other gardens are just mulched beds with hosta. I walked by after dinner with Lily and she just demolished all of them. She ripped them all out and just piled them up. It made me so sad! I would have transplanted them if they didn't want them, primroses, lungwort, lots of lillies, balloon flowers, columbine. There were more too. What a waste. the columbine were special from my parent's garden that my dad and I grew from seed. Would you guys say something or just let it go? fusionrjamznannerl

No, Triscuit. This is three steps to disgusting. Who in their right mind marketed this as delicious! Cracker ruiner! Peas and cottage cheese and mint? WTF?

That's so sad! I'd probably let it go because it's already done and you're already having issues with her. Unless one of you is moving soon. Then have it out

That's true what's done is done. I'll just keep ignoring her . Ugh she drives me crazy!
Just letting the dog out before heading to bed....and i broke the lock on the sliding glass door into the backyard. Whoops. Mh was not overly thrilled about having to tackle that at 10pm....but hes going to be gone for the wknd so he has to fix it. In my defense, i think whoever touched it next would have broken it. I just flicked the lock and i think an internal spring broke.
We're going to look at a puppy tomorrow that my friend is fostering. I don't really want another one right now but my H wants to at least look at him first.

If you don't want him don't look at him. He will hypnotize you with his puppy face and ears and it will be all over. Lol

Haha I think my H will more affected! I've seen pictures of him and he is cute but I just feel like I would be a little overwhelmed with 2 kids, a 9 week old and 6 month old puppy. I know other people are interested in him so I know he'll be adopted really quickly.
carawestt while I think a puppy playmate could be great for abbey I don't think now is the time for you guys. Maybe when the weather is cooler and they can be outside more.

Yes, I agree. I think it would be great for Abbey but I don't know if I'm ready to start over with potty training and all that so soon again.

If it was me and I had a place to put them, I totally would ask if I could go through the pile and salvage parts to plant up. Or salvage plant parts for somebody else. Perennials are tough to kill... I bet even with the ripping up most of the root systems would have been intact enough to come back next year.
