Don't worry I am not going to start selling it and becoming one of "those" people
So a few weeks ago a friend asked me if I knew anything about R&F and I said yes, they are a pain in the ass MLM scheme and from what I had heard the products were ok, but nothing special for the money. Anyway, she was telling me her hairdresser was selling the products and had somehow earned a Lexus (how much do you have to sell to get a Lexus...gotta be a lot). I rolled my eyes.
HOWEVER, a friend of mine from college just started using the Reverse regimen and she posted some before and afters and I have to say I am pretty impressed. I am 36 and besides slight wrinkles (sigh...I wish I could afford botox on the regular) I am definitely starting to notice that my skin has lost its glow and I'm getting a more uneven skin tone and dark spots. My old friend seemed to have a similar problem and her skin really did look better in the after.
I can't get a really good handle on how much the products were. Any experiences? DO they run sales or anything? Is there a way to buy without engaging the crazy that can be a R&F salesperson? I don't want to get roped into the whole party, constant messaging about products stuff. I just want good stuff for my aging skin. Any other products you guys recommend that can be bought at a regular store?

A few of my friends sell this. One of them does very well because she has a lot of reps under her. The others, not so much.
I've tried the products and they are fine, but honestly not worth what you pay.
You can get discounted products a few ways. The first is, of course, by becoming a rep yourself (and annoying the shit out of your friends). The other is by signing up for their automatic renewal program where you get shipments every other month.
It is really unlike me to drink the kool aid. I have several friends who sell Isa. gen. ix and they post all these before & afters of people who all of a sudden look amazingly fit and toned. It's pretty clear to me these are sent from the company to the reps for marketing purposes. They are not "real" people that my friends are friends with. The fact that these are this girl's personal before and afters was what made me take note.
Maybe I'm just feeling ugly and desperate with a birthday this month lol
Paula's Choice gives a couple of their products top ratings. One because of hydroquinone (sp?) and one because of a stable retinol.
A college friend just started selling, and I wanted to be supportive, so I researched the products. Then the makeup board assured me to just say no. LOL.
Nuetrogena Rapid Repair, I'm 50, and started using it without any comments about a new product line. About three or so weeks in, the BF commented that I looked younger, "all the little lines that gave my face character" were disappearing. I use the eye cream, the day serum, and the night repair lotion. All three together on Amazon subscribe & save are less than $45, last about 2 months or a bit more.
I have used this line (also Olay ProX), but it made my face dry out really badly I got scaly patches and chemical burns that would even burn when I washed my face with a gentle cleanser. Someone told me that it meant it was working, but I scaled back and only used it every other day and then every two days. My skin looked bad enough for a long enough period of time that I was like it's dumb to try to prevent my skin from looking bad in the future when it looks awful now
I have pretty sensitive skin so it's hard to find something anti-aging that is gentle enough.
And I won't pressure, but if I refer a friend via email I think we can both get a $10 credit towards products. That goes for any registered PC customer. It takes a few days to hit your account
I'll totally use your link if I order! I was just looking at the site and I thought I would email a customer service rep to get recs. My skin is weird b/c it is not fair at all but it is still sensitive. And it is definitely what I would call dry, but I still break out around my period But instead of a smattering of acne I used to get, I get the giant underground zits that are round and glossy on the top ykwim? And they take so long to go away that I only get a week or so between cycles before the next one shows. Now that I think about it that is probably what is leaving me dark spots.

My face CHANGED after using Paula's Choice. So much so, that I don't get Botox anymore between my eyebrows. I have decent skin with no acne. My biggest "problems" are oiliness in my T-Zone, my crease between my eyebrows and freckles/sun damage.
I've bought quite a few products from PC (about 10 or so) and narrowed down to my favorites:
I've been using their resist products for combo/oily skin and I love them so much. I've used R&F because my neighbor sells it. It's average and over priced.
I think I remember hearing about this on here! What products? Only sold online?
For now it's only sold online. But the customer service is great. Email them and they will give you specific recommendations. You can order anything in a sample size to try first. And they take returns like candy. They really want you to love their products.
I saw on FB that the line is also going to start being sold on QVC. But given how awesome the CS is and free shipping promos, I'd stick with the PC site. I think select Nordstroms are now selling it too (rather, they are testing it in a couple now, I think on the west coast).
I can go through what I love if you're interested. I have oily skin and equally concerned about anti aging and acne.
I'm interested in what you use. I have the same concerns and oily skin.

Lurker... I use them and really like them. My skin has absolutely improved. I use Redefine, the roller and the macro. I've been very happy. However, I know TWELVE people that sell it now and the FB posts drive me nuts.
My friend sells it and he posted this the other day, claiming she's wearing no foundation in the after. LOLOLOL.
OMG. What is up with spots showing in the after photos like they have been altered. Whhhhaaatttt? That is just embarrassing. This girl looked better, but not perfect. Ugh. I hate seeing stuff like this.
I don't sell it but I actually love R&F Reverse regimen.
I use it in the mornings. I love their face sunscreen. It's very light and I can wear makeup over it. My sunspots and fine lines are definitely lighter. I also just like the way my skin feels. In the evenings I use a different cleanser and moisturizer (not R&F). I also have their Macro Exfoliator. It was a gift and I use it once per week.
I tried Clinique's dark spot treatment and it really hurt my skin. It made the areas extremely sensitive and tender, dried out my skin, and was a huge waste of money.
I don't think R&F is a scam. Do I think there are other products out there for less money? Yes. But right now, the way I use it, I only reorder every 3-4 months. $150 every 3-4 months for a skincare regimen I like and have had success with isn't that bad.
It helps that my friends who sell it aren't pushy at all. They delay my monthly reorder until I tell them I need more. They don't post on FB. And honestly, some of my pickiest friends LOVE this line of skincare. They don't want to sell it (because, MLM), but they use it happily.
