I was 29. Before I had DS I wish that I had done it younger. Now I am glad I had the childless experiences I did before becoming a mom.

rosiebear I had the opposite experience. I delivered at a hospital where the average age of the first time mom is 37. I felt like a teen mom at birthing class, it was great LOL. If you are in the DC area I can tell you where to take baby classes for baby #2 (not that you want to sit through it again).

Ha. We were really surprised and did not expect to be the oldest in the group!

I was 37 and turned 38 a month and a half later. I used to have a complex about it but don't anymore.

We went to dinner for my birthday and while there, were looking at pictures of our son. We showed the server our pictures (proud parents!) and she said, "Wow, you two don't look like parents!" She meant it as a compliment. LOL!!!!
