Dude, NO. Now you have a baby! Evict that baby, as it's clear she's overstayed her welcome (girl, right? Memory is failing).
He. Boy. He seems cozy. I give up. Tuesday we call in the big guns.
Hopefully the little slowpoke doesn't make you wait that long.
My DH is starting to find out how much his school books are going to cost this year and it stresses me out. Science books are ridiculously expensive and we're poor, which is a bad combo.
I'm also expecting a copy. I didn't check the mail today, I hope it's there. It's not available on Amazon. If you didn't get in on the Kickstarter you have to wait to order it.

The sellers signed the contract stipulating they would have the house professionally cleaned. They did not. Looks like the draperies and blinds have not been dusted in a decade. The tops of beams, which you can see when looking down from the guest room, were coated in such a thick layer of dust I had to sweep it four or five times. They left the oven caked in gunk and food bits all over the stove.
Our realtor was so pissed on our behalf she got 400 out of them so I could hire a pro.. But I had hired a painter to come in and had to reschedule it because the cleaning crew will need a whole day.

Congrats!
I mean did the sellers think you were going to forget that part of the contract. Glad you're realtor for some money out of them.

As a seller this just pisses me off. Why do people think that stuff like this is something they can just blow off? It's stressful enough to buy/sell a house and move without adding in unexpected headaches like something that should have been cleaned and wasn't.
The constant rain makes me feel even lazier than normal.
I want a full on rainy weekend SO.BAD.
Yesterday was beautiful here. Low humidity, 80s, just lovely and it felt good to feel the sun on my face, but I am longing for a rainy, dreary weekend so I have a good excuse to binge TV watch and read on the sofa.
School starts in a month and I'm just not feeling it.

My cousin (2nd) got married a couple of months ago to a girl he has been with for maybe a decade. No one in the family has ever really met her; they don't come to any family events and this side of the family has annual reunions and lots of get togethers so it's not like we are not close on this side. But we have sure heard ad nauseum that she perhaps literally walks on water.
Anyway. So the wedding. They get married in LA where she is from. He and the rest of his family is from Nor Cal. We've been hearing about this wedding for about 2 years. How awesome it will be blah blah blah. In the end, he invites no one from his side of the family. Maybe 5 people, including his parents, get invited. The rest are her LA friends and family and what not.
Oh well. No biggie. We are not close. Wasn't expecting an invite. I'm a little annoyed that my grandma is not invited but oh well. I got a little more annoyed seeing the endless stream of photos on facebook and gushing posts from him and his mom about the wedding.
Life goes on.
A couple days ago I get a text from his dad: "let us know if you can come to the nor cal wedding reception and meet the bride."
Now I'm really annoyed.
1. You didn't have a destination wedding. We all live in Cali. You just didn't want to spend more money on your wedding by inviting us.
2. You don't get to have a reception so you get more gifts when you wouldn't even invite us to the wedding.
3. Don't text me this invite.
4. Meet the bride? You people have been together a decade. There have been a million chances to meet the bride but they don't come to any of them.
I can't unfriend this person for several reasons, but I did remind her that just because someone doesn't know the answer to a question doesn't mean there isn't an answer. She responded with a smiley face emoji.
I'm pretty sure I heard "sushi?" >100 times today. When I was in the room next door or in the same room.
I don't know why this annoyed me as much as it did.
I think it was the adult equivalent of mommymommymommy. Yes, I hear you. I'm right here. Just fucking speak to me. It mostly happened while he took like 8 hours to replace a light fixture. So, it was a lot of "sushi? How do I? Where is...[it, thing, something else nonspecific]? Is this [mentioning something in a different room that I can't see] right?"
I'm not ready for another week of all together all the time.
