Ok, so we're not swaddling. Sleep sucks, especially naps, whatever.
My issue is he keeps rolling onto his stomach in the crib and then puts his face into the mattress. We battled for like an hour at 4am last night before I finally put him in bed with me. I'm terrified he's going to suffocate himself because he won't keep his head turned when lying on his stomach. What do I do!? I probably just need to stop freaking out, right? Logically, I know he should be fine, but it just really stresses me out.
Yes, just stop freaking out (easier said than done I know). If he can get himself there, and there are no teddies or blankets or pillows in his crib, he will be a-ok.
No problem there. His crib has literally nothing in it. Ugh. I just don't like it. I should get one of those angel monitor things.

This would have me terrified. I can barely sleep when she rolls to her side. If he gets himself to his belly, he should be able to lift up for air if needed.

I still have mine in her bassinet on top of mattress crib lol. She has been rolling around but I just figure if she can't breath she will switch sides. I put her in the zipadee zip lol

L did the same thing. What helped me lessen my anxiety was really watching her during tummy time, and observing how much head control she had. That made me feel much better about her ability to turn her head when/if needed.
