PSA - Target has a very similar option to the EasyLunchBox that was linked from Amazon. I picked up 2 - one was Paw Patrol and the other was TMNT - but they were just in the dollar spot for $1 each. Not super heavy duty, but they have worked perfect for us so far and fit in the Skip Hop lunchie.
Are you talking about the thinnish ones with two small compartments and a larger one with the picture on it? I just got these for my kiddos because my DS used to get small Tupperware containers, but my DD is only 2.5 so I didn't want to make her teacher be in charge of opening and keeping track of all the little plastic shit. I will say the top on the new one seems kinda hard to open, but hey, it was a dollar!

Yes, those are the ones. They seal tight, but I haven't found them to be difficult to open.

I saw that the other day but skipped because we had smaller containers like those last summer and the lids never fit again after I put them in the dishwasher.
They are dishwasher approved! Granted, they've only been through the dw twice so far, but I kept them on the top and nothing seemed to shrink.
We have both the panini and bento Yumbox and they fit into the PBkids lunch boxes. They don't reheat food in dS1s preschool so we don't worry about that aspect. After 1 yr of use they are still in awesome shape.
Do you mind telling me which PBK lunchbox you have? I just purchased the classic Mackenzie lunchbox and want to get the Panini Yumbox. TIA!

Mackenzie all in one with the drink holder on the outside?
DD didn't get picky about food until after she was past preschool. So, at that point, we were doing a lot of leftovers for lunch, plus some fresh fruit and/or yogurt.
Now, she pretty much will only eat sandwiches. We can get away with hummus and veggies (usually carrots and red peppers) not on bread, but everything else needs to be on bread.
