The only strawberry ice cream I've ever liked was someone's homemade ice cream. I guess all the store bought had artificial strawberry flavoring in it, and I hate fake strawberry flavor, even though I love strawberries.

I want to agree with you on this, but there are just too many legitimate exceptions. Banana pudding, banana splits, bananas foster, banana cream pie, peach cobbler, apple galette, pear crisp, strawberry shortcake. On second though, maybe I don't want to agree, I just hate when anyone tries to make chocolate and raspberry happen.
I'll take a good strawberry over boring old vanilla or chocolate any day of the week. I love the frozen chunks of berry. But if it's strawberry ice cream with chocolate pieces mixed in it, like with Bruster's Tuxedo Strawberry--- HEAVEN.
It was Breyers ice cream BTW. Is this not quality ice cream?
If so, I probably can't afford the kind of ice cream that could potentially convince me that strawberry ice cream is not worst flavor between choc, vanilla & strawberry
Not only did you make it, but I highlighted you, too.
I am appalled.
Add me too. I dislike chocolate ice cream. I will never order it.
Peppermint is my favorite. Classic vanilla is always good. Cherry ice cream is yummy too.
I'll have to disagree with your dislike of fruit gelato's and sorbets. Those are some of my favorites.
Peppermint ice cream is my favorite too!! There is a place near me that makes "dirty garden mint" ice cream. It is to die for. It's so minty and rich and amazing.

Brewers is fine for grocery store ice cream - but it's not going to be life changing and is probably why you don't like strawberry.
Make your own strawberry or get some higher quality ice cream and you will understand what the rest of us are talking about.
Normally strawberry ice cream sucks and I'll go for chocolate or vanilla any day over it. But yesterday, we went to a local place that had local berries as their monthly theme and they had roasted strawberry with toasted white chocolate ice cream and it was fucking fantastic. So you have to get a good one.
