I think DS has discovered his voice is coming from himself, and he has not stopped talking/yelling/screeching for 40 minutes. It's both super adorable and kind of tiring.
Thank goodness today is toy/book rotation day because I would go crazy if I had to read Goodnight Goodnight Construction Site or Little Blue Truck Leads the Way one more time! Both are adorable and DS loves them but he wants to read them at least 5 times a day.
This afternoon I cooked everything (minus the starch) for meals for the week since DH is going to be working extra long hours. And now it's time to eat dinner but none of it sounds good
DH took DS1 out with him during DS2's nap time. So I actually got a quick nap in in a quiet house. Ahh, it was so nice. Naps really seem been few and far between when you are pregnant with #3 and older kids are always around.
We took the kids out to an early dinner and I'm getting tired of all three of them refusing to tell me what they want to eat, so then I order stuff they should like, and then they don't touch it. And the bonus chorus of "I'm hungry" as soon as we're home. It's like they're purposefully trying to drive me crazy lol.
I think we're just going to do takeout for DH and I and let the kids eat a sandwich at home for a while. Tonight we paid an extra $20 in untouched meals and larger tip for a messy table. Not worth it.
DH is jetlagged and already in bed. I may run after the kids go down, we had a busy day with a birthday party at one of those indoor inflatable jump and playground places.
I need to make sure we do more activities out on weekends. Normally we are out and about a lot, and the days fly. But we were only out for 30 minutes today and we have literally no idea what else to do to entertain this child. Books, bouncy, exersaucer, mobile time, bumbo, play mat, more books, dancing, singing, chatting....he is very clearly frustrated and we cannot figure out what else to do! He actually took two 45-minute naps, which is amazing for him. Usually they are 15 minutes long. It's too hot and sunny to go out for a walk. 75 minutes until bath time!

DH and I got through 2.5 episodes of season 8 of doctor who. Meeting a new doctor is always strange but it's fun to be watching again! I don't really miss Matthew Smith.
Poor ds2. He's been unhappy all day. Literally the only time he wasn't whining (eeeeehhhh.....eeehhhhh.....eeehhhh on repeat) was when nursing, 1hr of naps over the whole day, 20mins after each nap, and supper when MIL gave him pizza and cheesecake.
He rallied a bit this evening after I rocked him for 1.5hrs in the ILs air conditioned bedroom. And by rally I mean he whined while playing independently. He's finally asleep for the night (fingers crossed) but I still hear the echo of whining in my head.
We went to the zoo this morning and then took a walk this afternoon. That's the most active I've been in a LONG time. Even the pedometer on my phone congratulated me for reaching a step goal. Lol
Now I'm watching The Blind Side, folding laundry and getting ready to make a very lazy dinner of fried egg sandwiches. H and C are at Home Depot doing manly things.
I'm totally dreading tomorrow, which is the big culmination of a project I've been working on for months. I really, really hope it goes off without a hitch.
DD2 said "Love you!" to my H tonight on the phone (we're at the ILs for the week without him). It was so freaking cute, but it made me sad/jealous because it was the first time she ever said it. What is wrong with me?!
MIL came by and said something about dinner Wednesday night. Thankfully DH shut it down. No we can't meet at 6:30 on a weekday for dinner. E would be a mess.
We went to my nephew's baseball game today. He is in a special needs league and it was amazing. It's only 2 innings, everyone bats twice, you bat until you hit, the first base coach is an 89 year old woman. There were kids in wheelchairs, ones with Downs, a blind child, those on the spectrum, etc. At first I thought it would be heartbreaking but there was SO MUCH JOY on the field. This is one instance where I fully support the everyone-gets-a-trophy mentality.
We went to the science centre. So fun. But tired now. And I gave my h the day off (he had work) but now he is at a bachelor party so morning off tomorrow Im sure.
My MIL is terrified of my SIL and a clean germaphobe. We took nieces without their Mom to the science centre. L and I both peed, wiped and got dressed in the same amount of time it took her to clean the toilet seat and prep it for my niece (who is 7) and poor kid is saying 'can I just pee? Please'

I didn't eat a single home cooked meal today or yesterday. To be fair, i ate half a Chipotle burrito yesterday and half today. I'm waiting for H to get Jimmy Johns right now.
This is very unlike me and I'm sure it's contrubuting to my sluggishness.

I just checked out DS1's mouth trauma from yesterday again and realized he gave himself a labial frenectomy. Omg. Poor kid. And he didn't even complain about pain for more than 5 minutes.

I liked Matt Smith well enough, but I really love Peter Capaldi as the Doctor, so I don't miss him much, either. But Tennant will always be my Doctor

There are no swim lessons or story times for DD for all of August. WTH am I supposed to do with my kid for the next month?? I have a feeling August is going to be a very expensive month, as I'll probably wind up taking her shopping every day just so we have something to do.
Oh DH. We are selling our DR set when we move. It was $1800ish new. I told DH I would put it on CL for half of that. He thinks I can get more. LOL. The set is 7 years old.
H ran the Spartan Race yesterday and did so well. I was exhausted and sick, but still went to cheer him on. I am paying for it today since I barely have any energy. But he stepped up and took care of DD all day without complaint (when he was the one that should have been resting!). I am hoping I'll be better tomorrow but he is planning to come home and watch DD again.
6 days until vacation and I still have no bathing suit. The top I ordered was final sale and I can't return it and it's too small. Blah.
My shoulders are STILL killing me. Who the hell knew spinning cotton candy would be so much work? It was fun but definitely an art form.
I'm a sticky mess though. I'm about to hit the shower and then clean up my kitchen.
It also dawns me our next exchange student arrives in a week and a half. He seems nice. I'm medicated. This could be the start of a beautiful friendship..haha. Let's just hope I don't lose my mind with TWO in my house for two weeks. Russian is still here until September 1st. Which is fine as he ha vacation planned. He wanted to stay until Sept. 15th and H and I were like, "Ummm....you are the best employee we've had for sure. You're just a weird houseguest. Get OUT!" In the politest of terms of course.
Think I'm going to try to take DS to the pedi tomorrow. He's being all sorts of weird. Waking up screaming. Fussy at the breast. Hasn't popped in 24hrs, yesterday was lots of greenish poop. Has a weird kind of rash on his legs. Babies are mysteries.
How old is he? If he is a NB and EBF it's normal to go up to a week without pooping.
