My husband and I are heading to Colorado at the end of September without our kids for 5 days - we are staying in Denver, Vail and Aspen. Does anyone have good restaurant recommendations? Thanks!

I have some suggestions for Denver:
Zengo - Really yummy latin/asian fusion near Lo-Do on the riverfront
Lola - Upscale mexican in LoHi
Comida - Also mexican but derived from a popular food truck. This is in The Source, a really neat building hosting a bunch of up and coming local restaurants and small artisan shops. Acorn is also here, I've eaten at its sister restaurant, Oak, and if they're at all similar, I'm sure it's amazing.
Beast+Bottle - Rustic American. I had an amazing brunch here. So good. Capitol Hill-ish area.
Denver Biscuit Company - Great brunch if you like biscuits. Biscuits and gravy, sandwiches, etc... Also Capitol Hill area, inside of the Atomic Cowboy bar and pizza place.
Stubens - Fancy american diner food. So so good. Also in Capitol Hill.
Biker Jim's Gourmet Dogs on the north side of downtown Denver has mac-n-cheese hot dogs and natural sodas for the kids, and beer for the adults. I love their wild boar hot dog, while DH likes the duck.
The Market on Larimer Street is an awesome deli and gets you right in the middle of great walking traffic in LoDo.
Stout St. Social (across from the Convention Center) has some of the best nachos I've ever eaten. Ever.

there is a ton of great food in Denver - it depends on where you're staying and what your plans are. the girls have great suggestions. if you are in Downtown on Larimer we love Osteria Marco and Rioja. Union Station has been refurbished and is beautiful. Great food there as well at Stoic & Genuine (same chef as Rioja) and the Terminal Bar is fun.

Aspen- Ajax tavern at the Little Nell hotel. Great food, amazing patio area. We got married in Vail and had our reception dinner at Ludwigs in the Sonnenalp Hotel.

Thanks! We are staying in the sister hotel of the Little Nell, and I saw that mentioned, it looks good.
