We have three cell phones and are about to add a fourth. We don't have a home phone and we have my mother in law on our bill. We are adding my daughter. Our bill is with Verizon for 190.00 a month and will go to 230 when we add our daughter. . Ugh this makes me sick. Sprint is advertising a 100- a month family plan. My husband claims by the time we replace our phones the difference will not be that much. I plan to go to the sprint store to investigate this. Why is this so expensive and such a difference in price?
$30 a month - unlimited everything on Virgin ($35 is the published price but I get a 5$ discount for a direct debit payment). No contract but it's officially pay-as-you-go so I had to buy the handset.
“With sorrow—for this Court, but more, for the many millions of American women who have today lost a fundamental constitutional protection—we dissent,”
Sprint: 3 lines $140 ($100 for the first 2, and $40 for the 3rd), unlimited talk, text and data (no throttle at a certain data point). We lease 2 of the phones, so that adds another $40 to the bill, but I get 22% off for a corporate discount.
We have an iPhone 5S, 6, and 6+ (lease the two 6's).
Man, I think I need to go to Verizon and see about a new plan. 2 phones with 2 gb data each, 250 text messages each, 700 shared minutes per month, Asurion coverage and a company discount and we're still paying about $156 per month. We paid for the phones (at the 2 year renewal price) so that is all plan, no phone leases.
Sprint unlimited data 5 lines ~ $250 (just added the MIL on so there were some partials so not sure on the exact after taxes, but it was $250.40 when my dad had been on before he passed). That includes our phones, we are still all in the 2 year contract discounted phone included
Mine is typically $88 with Sprint for one smartphone with unlimited everything - talk, text and data. I get certain benefits because I use it for work. I have an iPhone 5S which I plan to keep using for a while but probably won't replace with an iPhone. I'm not happy with some performance issues that it has. I am perfectly fine with Sprint so far.
My boyfriend has several phones. His personal line is an old grandfathered Verizon plan. He buys the phone outright to keep it. I used to have one as well but chose to switch to Sprint when I bought my last phone. I wasn't that attached to Verizon and Sprint gave me a better deal.
$138 - 2 iPhones, unlimited data, unlimited texts, 1500 minutes (which, of course, we never come close to exceeding, since it's free mobile to mobile and nights and weekends), Sprint.
I have been with Sprint for close to 20 years, and I wouldn't be able to get what they're offering now. Similarly, I could switch to Verizon and likely get something better than what you have. It's just the new customer game.

$67/mo - 2 lines, 1,000 minutes + free nights/weekends. We don't have smart phones or a texting plan. On an average month there are a handful of texts at .25/each.
2 iPhone 6 we purchased outright. About $40/mo with Ting for both. Both SO and I are always near WiFi, so we keep data to a minimum, usually less than 1 GB/ mo.
Usually about $24/month (incl. taxes) with Ting. I have an iPhone5C that I brought over from Sprint. I don't end up using a lot of data since I'm usually in WiFi. Some months I use a little more data...then the bill is about $33.
