I did, and she said she wasn't concerned until you go 6 months without a period. But since this has never happened to me before I am a little concerned...
Yes, get your thyroid checked. Mine was out of wack and i didnt get my period. They had to give me a pill to bring it back on. Are you super tired?

I have been working out twice a day! But i am not "dieting" because of nursing. I figure work out more, eat more because my appetite is something fierce.

I am always tired, but I have been recently shedding a ton of hair so that is what has me most concerned.

Taking the kids to a discovery center this morning! Hopefully it's fun. Right now, they're drawing chalk outside in their pajamas, their new favorite activity.

I'm super stressed. My evening class got cancelled and I was offered a day one which means I need a sitter for the girls. I found a sahm on my neighborhood Facebook group who can do it for $10 an hour and bring her 2 yr old. She is coming over in a bit and I really hope I like her. It just makes me nervous to leave a 2 month old. But if I turn down the class I will pretty much lose my position at the school. On the upside we will get to have family time in the evening now and I will be able to attend the monthly preschool meetings.
I checked out halfway through that ML thread. It got too confusing for me.
A has been blaming things on his "brother Andy" all day. "I didn't get the muffins out, it was ANDY." "Andy didn't flush the toilet, mom!" Apparently I gave birth to identical twins and they have been playing tricks on me all this time.
My clinic does something called MyChart (not sure if it's just a local thing) where you can log in, send messages to your providers, schedule appts, see test results, etc. All communication does go into your electronic medical record though.
Let me preface this by saying there's not a lot that grosses me out. With one exception. There's a certain type of bug that I cannot stand and I do NOT handle them well. Seriously, even the name gives me the heebie jeebies.
This morning I was drinking my coffee at my desk, minding my own business, when I felt a little tickle on my leg. I looked down and there was something crawling on my leg!! Omg, omg, omg. The "bug that shall not be named" was on my freaking leg. I jumped up, but couldn't tell if it was still there so I ripped off my pants to make sure. (I didn't flash anyone; I'm always the first one to arrive in my department and I'm pretty sure I managed to shut the door beforehand.)
