What are you training for? Date? -Big Damn Bridge ride 68 miles Sept 26 -Starting to think about Tour de Gruene (I rode last year, didn't train and it'll be a huge mental hurdle for me to do it) Nov 7

M-strength T-17-20 miles on the bike W-strength - maybe 14 on the bike Th-17-20 miles on the bike F-rest S-40 mile women's ride S-17 mile recovery ride maybe
Any issues or vents?
From doing strength training, my body is incredibly stiff. I'm trying to figure out when I can add some yoga to my schedule to work on flexibility. Also, my hips have been hurting and I'm not sure why. Usually only happens when I run too much, but I haven't run in the past 2-3 weeks.
Highlights from the past week? AW yourself!
Not H&F related, but I had a phone interview last week and got a call today to schedule an in person interview next week! I'm stupid excited about this opportunity because it would be a perfect fit for where I want to go in my career. It would also allow my schedule to finally be freed up a bit so I can actually have some life balance.
My H&F related AW is hitting over 200 miles in July for cycling. That's a huge achievement for me!
Vents: I need to lose weight. I think I could hit the paces I want at this weight, but dropping 5-10 would make it soooo much easier. I just can't seem to pull myself together...I do okay for a couple days and then I get tired/busy/stressed and eat more ice cream. Ugh.
Highlights: finally finally feeling like I'm getting caught up to where I want to be, in terms of both speed and distance. My 10 mile pace Sunday was 21 sec/mi faster than last week.
