Has MMM have any influence on what names you chose for your LO(s)? I know some people post polls or ask advice but I was also curious if you saw a name here on the board that someone either suggested or that someone already had used and decided to use it?
Well, I didn't join until after both my boys were born. And with this pregnancy ending up being a girl we already had a girl named picked out from my first pregnancy and still stuck with it.
Our boy names were hard to decide on though! And if #3 had been a boy I probably would have done a poll or post to help.

No... This was one area that DH and I didn't need/want opinions. But in all honestly, I did ask if our potential girl name was too matchey with DS1's name. However, we had a little boy, so no issue there!
I wasn't on GBCN when I was pregnant with DD. We already have our girl name picked but if we have a boy I may do a poll because DH and I are in disagreement on the name. Good thing we have like 30 weeks to figure it out and find out what we are having!
Definitely not my first 3 kids (pre-GBCN)--DD4 first was mostly chosen by DH but I picked her nickname & middle. Don't think anyone has ever even mentioned either of her official names as even options. Lol
I initially wanted to call him Hank, as a nickname. I did a poll on GP and most people said that it was stupid to name him something more formal, with the intention of calling him Hank. Just name him Hank.
We went to the hospital with a list of 10 or so possible names. We ended up naming him Luca, which was not on the list, and not something that we had discussed until I thought of it in the hospital, in a semi-drug-induced state. It happened because I thought - ooh, that hot doctor looks like Luca from ER. I asked my husband what he thought of "Luca" and he loved it. He still doesn't know how I came up with it, LOL. And then, because it was a new name, I kept on forgetting what we named him, and was calling him Nico off and on for a few days. OMG.

Nah, we used family names. I wouldn't have polled DS2's name here anyway because it starts with the same letter as DS1's name and I know how the board feels about "cutesy" sibsets.
No. Calvin and I agreed on our first daughter's name (after family) way, way before there was a first daughter on the way.
If Hobbes was a boy, it's possible I'd have polled MMM. We tossed around just enough names prior to my a/s to know that we had NO overlap in boy name preferences.

My kids were born pre MMM, but I did poll on TB for my kids' names. It was not helpful because there was pretty much a 50/50 split on my two polls: Robbie vs Robby for a DS's nn and Elsa vs Vera for DD.
No. We used family names. I also think the consensus is that I'm strange to call DS1 something other than his name, Jack for John. I'm okay with that though.
