Churrasco de Flank Steak (Flank Steak Brazilian Style). I saw a recipe on The Today show and it looked good so I wanted to try it but no sure what to serve as sides.
My H has been to a fair number of Brazilian restaurants (both here and in Brazil), and says that they usually have an extensive salad bar with fresh vegetables, sometimes rice or black bean dishes, sometimes seafood, and they serve a cheese bread called pao de quejo. I think pagas has a recipe for the bread in her blog.
He just ate at a Brazilian restaurant earlier this week, and said that they had a rotisserie grilled pineapple that was really good.
He also said that it is really all about the meat, and the restaurant that he was at this week had a lot of meat dishes at their salad bar too, but when I asked him what to serve with Churrasco Flank Steak, his first answer was 'a caipirinha'. That would be why we always have cachaca in our liquor cabinet. lol
