ETA I have been waiting for her to run since the 2008 primary, which left me pretty heartbroken for awhile. I love our president, but it was hard to get over my disappointment when she lost. I believe she'll be our next president, and I can't wait.
I'm torn. I'm basically a socialist, so Bernie probably lines up with my general beliefs more.
But I'm pragmatic and think that even if he won (which he has a much smaller chance of doing), he would get the same amount of stuff done, if not less than Hillary. So I don't really see a big difference between a Hillary or Bernie presidency as far as domestic policy goes. For foreign policy and picking judges, I probably trust Hillary more.
I also think she is better on race and minority issues in general, and want to see a female president. So my emotions pull me this way as well.
So probably Hillary. But I feel a bit weird about it, because in terms of positions it should be Bernie.
It bothers me how much Bernie reduces everything to economic inequality. Yes, it's a huge problem, but fixing it isn't going to magically solve, say, race relations.
As much as it would be nice to have a President who hasn't spent the last 20 years of their life surrounded by extraordinarily rich people, Hillary.

My politics are complicated, and in the past, I have voted for the Libertarian candidate, even when I lived in Ohio. (And it mattered, as opposed to a solidly blue state now). I voted for HRC in the primary the last time, and I just love her so much, that I'm actually going to have to go declare a party so I can vote in the next primary. (In Ohio, you don't have to declare a party in advance. You just ask for whichever party's ballot you want on primary day. Here, I'm registered independent, but have to switch to Dem to vote in the primary).
I really want a female president, and I think she's it.
Hillary even though that poll posted awhile back said I should vote for Bernie Sanders. lol. I think Hillary has a better chance of winning, and I want my girls to grow up in a country that has had a female president.

I'm leaning Bernie, because I think the party needs to hear the message that it needs to be pulled to the left, but I will happily vote for Hillary in the general.
I really like Bernie. I feel most strongly about environmental issues/climate change, and Bernie seems to be stronger in that area, from what I have heard.
I will definitely vote for Hillz in the general election, though, if she gets the nomination!

I worry she's going to spend all of her time fighting stupid battles because she's Hillary Clinton. (Though considering the GOP flat out stated that their agenda was to fight every Obama policy, I guess it won't be that different.) I have irrational levels of love for both Hillary and Bill, but they do have this level of arrogance (?) that I find infuriating. The email thing is a perfect example - she KNOWS people are going to be looking for shit to throw at her, and yet she goes and does something stupid anyway. It's negligible in the big picture, and other high ranking officials have also done it, (I'm looking at you, Karl Fucking Rove), but because of who she is, it turned into a big freaking deal. And it's maddening.
I think she would be a kick-ass President, but I worry some other dumb thing will come out between now and the general, and then we'll all be fucked. I like Bernie a lot, and I am glad to see he's giving her a run for her money and it's not just going to be a coronation, but like someone else said, I don't know if I can vote for another old white man.
Probably Hillary, because having her as president would make all my conservative friends' heads EXPLODE.
The email thing is bothersome. I mean, if I had done what the news media claims she did, I'd lose my job or be in jail. But I fully realize that the news media is probably not accurately reporting this.

@littlemoxie, I'm on my phone, so I can't quote (because it's a giant PITA), but the GOP has been screaming about socialism for so long, I don't know that they'd recognize it when they ACTUALLY see it, heh.
But I don't disagree that the things Sanders stands for aren't going to get a lot of bipartisan support. My concern with Hillary isn't just the sexism, but also the intense hatred people have historically had for her and Bill. Maybe it's not an actual factor anymore, but there are a lot of people (on both sides) who really haaaaaaate her. With that said, she certainly has no fucks to give on some level and can navigate the murkiest of waters, and I think she likely would have been a better president than Obama in that sense. But my personal opinion is that the democrats have been complete wusses for the last several years, and they haven't done themselves any favors.

But I don't think the GOP will be much different to a SOCIALIST!!!
And really, half of why they wanted to fight every Obama policy is because they are racist. So to the extent the GOP will be sexist and infuriated that a woman has so much power and lash out accordingly, I don't see that as a reason for me to not vote for that woman.
I agree that the email thing was stupid, and I wish she hadn't done it. I do also want to get more left leaning policies in place. But let's be real - you are not going to get too much bipartisan support on taxing the shit out of the rich, increasing social programs, etc. We will see marginal change in slightly different areas between the two.
My father (and Fox News) is convinced that this email thing will be the death of HRC, and that she will go to jail. And if she doesn't, it's because of the liberal media.
