I just found a tiny hole in my most favoritest shirt in the whole world. It's probably six or seven years old. I should have bought six of them at the time.

Oh and this is somewhat CEP related random - last weekend I ate my first ever Golden Oreo...and the majority of the whole package too. I blamed the Oreos going quickly on my kids to my DH.
My random: the events coordinator I hired to take over my main events is awesome. Today she found a food truck owner willing to donate lunch to all of the participants of our annual fundraising walk. People are going to love it! But really, it's just nice have an employee whose quality of work I can trust.

I made a huge error in judgement.
I spray painted the coffee table base. I put the glass top on the wood floor. Normally, I'd lean it on something, but didn't want it to slide to the floor and break.
Um, I can't get the glass off the floor. It created a seal of some sort. I'm sure DH has something to get it up, but oops. Lesson learned.
I just did something that is probably hilarious only to me, but I will share anyway.
Among yesterday's fuckery (mentioned above) was a lot of insurance company bullshit. I made FOUR separate calls to Blue Cross because I kept getting different info.
Today I get a survey call to ask me about my calling experience. Unfortunately I didn't answer because I thought it was just a junk call. I googled the number, realized what it was, and called back, desperate to give feedback. Instead, and for reasons not worth explaining, I managed to get my phone number placed on the "do not call" list, and now will not be able to provide feedback as to how shitty BC customer service is.
Just imagine me shouting, "NO. NOOOOOOOOOO!" as an automated voice says, "Your number has been added to our Do Not Call list. Thank you." ::click::
This is some straight up Monty Python shit and I really can't stand the irony.

Really sad about the latest news about Kayla Mueller. It's her BIRTHDAY, and if this day wasn't already hard enough for her family now they're probably being bombarded by reporters.
