Following this thread...I have the black suede in my Amazon cart right now. I'm soooo tempted to buy them today.

I wonder if the leather is better than the suede?

I'm wondering on leather vs suede as well. I get a lot of snow where I am and am worried about salt stains.

I've had the putty suede for two Midwest winters now and they still look great. I use a suede protector on them.

I also have the wine colored suede and the leopard calf hair. They're such a great low profile bootie!

I ordered the putty color from Zappos - I think I need a half size smaller. The shoes are beautiful, though.

They have a pair of navy suede...omg, so beautiful. Not sure what I would wear them with, but I want them anyway.

Was it on clearance where they don't have many sizes available? I've been wanting booties for a long time, and these are perfect. But, $185 is not

They had them on the clearance table, but also on the table with the other Sam Edelman stuff.
