I'm at the orthopedic getting those lumps in my wrist checked.
I also started having tooth pain since my cavity was filled. I have to go in later today. I have never had tooth pain before and I will honestly fall apart if I need a root canal. I've talked about my terror of the dentist here before.
Between these two things, I am actually, literally nauseous from nerves.
I get random tooth pain when I'm having sinus issues.

That's a lot all at once! Good luck and hope everything goes really smoothly!

Huh. That is weird. I have never had sinus issues. But that is way weird.

Yeah, there are sinuses that run above your top teeth. I once had some kind of sinus infection that caused pain in that area. It was some of the worst pain I've ever experienced. Felt like my teeth were going to explode out of my mouth.
Since it's a sinus issue, breathing in really humid air can help ease the pain. I would sit in front of a humidifier breathing in the misty air.
Does anyone know a remedy for plantar fasciitis/bone spurs?
Find a sports chiropractor, PT, or sports medicine doctor who is certified in active release technique and make an appointment ASAP. PF and bone spurs are two different items and caused by different things.
Both are usually caused by things not exactly foot related. For me my PF and eventual tear steamed from tight and weak hips as well as other tight leg muscles that were all pulling on each other and the PF. I was also running at times in less supportive shoes than I actually needed. All of this was caused, mostly, by increasing in mileage too quickly.
A few things you can do at home for relief if this is PF:
Use a heating pad to help loosen calf muscles and feet a couple times a day.
Roll foot on golf ball for 30 seconds at a time throughout the day.
Hip strengthening exercises
Stretching / foam rolling / use of "the stick" for self massage
Wear supportive shoes (sneakers) at all times
Wear small wedges with really good arch support
Get rid of every pair of flip flops
KT and leuko tape your foot for additional support (the ART specialist you see should also be well-versed/certified with taping and be able to show you how to do this at home).
Yeah, I know way more than I ever wanted to about PF.
ETA: AND if someone tries to suggest a steroid (cortisone) shot GTFO immediately and never, ever, ever see that person again.
ETA2: Additional support may be needed by way of an insert. I have inserts I picked up at famous footwear of all places I wear in closed toe shoes. My SC fitted me with a-line inserts for my running shoes. Everyone should have a Dr. Joe in their life. He is seriously amazing. I would not be running again with out him.
ETA3: This is not medical advice, just what I have learned over the last two years of my life.
ETA 4: ChillyMcFreeze, to expand upon shoes - flats are no bueno.
Employee Appreciation luncheon today. Fried chicken and the scones for the strawberry shortcake are a huge disappointment this year; should have gotten the pound cake instead.
8 years of marriage with DH today. Nothing special going on. But I did pick up new pajamas and underwear this morning <)

Fairy tales do not tell children the dragons exist. Children already know that dragons exist. Fairy tales tell children the dragons can be killed. - G. K. Chesterton
My neighbor who plowed the driveway and fixed the mailbox for me while H was deployed, and mowed our lawn last year while our mower was broken, put up a Confederate flag today.
It's making me feel some kind of way that this person, who I thought was super nice, probably wouldn't have done anything for us if we were black.
That sucks. They may still have done something nice for you, but clearly by putting up that flag they are at minimum a little on the racist side.
On a similar note, my BFF's sister posted some pics over the weekend of her taking her 5 kids to some sort of carnival or celebratory get-together. I've already noticed she is going way downhill on the trashy side lately, with almost every pic she has of men in her life (around her kids) being shirtless. In public. And all easily in their 20's when she just turned 40.
But this weekend she posted a picture of her son getting on a carnival ride with one of these shirtless guys and I thought, "surely i just did not see a little confederate flag in her son's hand?" Then I scrolled down further and she had all her kids with little confederate flags on sticks, waving them proudly. And she called them little rebels.
All I could think was, "Little future redneck racists!" And I posted a couple of sad face and disgusted face emoticons under the pics she posted. She replied, "Huh?" and i just unfriended her.

Ok. I don't have bone cancer. There is no anomaly on my bone. I have a small nodule on a tendon that is not seen in X-ray and that is what I am feeling. Dr is not worried about it but I should monitor it for pain / getting bigger. He said even those things would not mean I have tendon cancer. LOL. This guy has my hypochondriac number.
So no hook will be necessary at this juncture.
Hopefully I can be so fortunate at the dentist later!
Just because I hate all rabbits except Bugs Bunny.
My random: there's a lady at work who is dumb as a box of rocks and does not understand social cues EVER. Thus, when she comes up to start talking to me, my automatic response is to start sidling away.

Boo to both of those. Hopd everything turns out okay.
Today someone left a lemon pound cake in the kitchen. I cannot resist a good lemon pound cake. It's like the official cake of the south y'all. So I cut off a sliver. DAMMIT! Oh and 1234FIF!! DH and I had a discussion about Idris. He said he was a damn good looking man in a suit. ha ha
He's a keeper, that husband of yours. lOL
I forgot to tell you guys that we randomly got someone else's Maxim issue for the Idris issue. We talked about it here and BOOM he just showed-up in my mailbox when I got home. The address was ours, but it's nobody's name we know. I didn't even try to get it to the right owner and immediately leafed through it.
As for us, we got two offers on our house yesterday. One was ridiculously low ($23k below asking on a low-to-mid 200's list price) and we countered but they aren't budging much. Very solid financially though.
The other came in later and was at asking price but with some closing assistance requested. And it's an FHA loan for two people who have been together 6 months and are new grads. But they are preapproved for the loan, and I did some sleuthing and see they are new BSN RNs so I know that unless they totally suck at their jobs or do something horrible in terms of conduct, they have long term employment available to them in our market. Starting salaries are like $55-65k/year depending on employer for BSN RNs so they can afford the house, and they have a parental gift for the downpayment.
We are going with the riskier more lucrative offer. I hope it works out!

Ewww... and now you are feeling like you're compelled to say something to him. Or at least I'd feel that way and refuse all help in the future, huh? That sucks - maybe an anonymous note about how it isn't appropriate and makes "neighbors feel less open and comfortable around them?"

Can I ask why? I mean, if the bank was willing to loan them money, why do you care what they do? What if they worked as Budtenders at a Medical Marijuana dispensary or were in a start-up that just started last week, would that change your minds?

i assumed because deeper delving into their finanicals on the bank's part could lead to the loan falling apart. when we got our mortgage i gave the bank a VERBAL income level and we were preapproved.
i know it's stricter now but that's just where i went with the sleuthing.

I sort of understand that, but the I guess it weirds me out that somehow she googled the potential buyers to find out they graduated with nursing degrees and that they've only been together 6 months. I'm guessing some of that info came from chatty real estate agents, which also seem unprofessional. It's a business transaction and so on one hand I understand wanting all the info, but on the other, I feel like that info is unprofessional and instead you should ask to see financials or bank backing if you must, but keep the social stuff like that 6-months together is not good for real estate out of it.
HOLY FUCKING SHIT CLOSING IS POSTPONED AGAIN! I'm about to throw shit and break things.
why?
Stupid fucking government loan and the government being too fucking slow with getting their information. No communication on the buyer's end. The title company had to call them to see what was happening. They say it's "2 to 3 days out". ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!
We've put stuff off on our new house until we get the house sold. We're now 2 weeks out from the original closing date. We're looking like jackasses to our contractors.
ARGH! I'd walk away from the deal if I could. Fuck 'em.
Everything I have is whiny. Work is fine, but the only things left to do are the awkward tasks that I don't really know what I am doing or how to do it.

Their realtor told my realtor way too much information about why they are doing FHA instead of conventional and disclosed that they are new grad nurses, she went through a divorce about a year ago and they have been together 6 months. I agree it was unprofessional on his part, but my realtor, having that information, ethically disclosed it to me because it gives me a risk assessment of the buyer. We already had one buyer fall through and had our house off the market 2 weeks during key summer close weeks in our area (once school starts, purchasing DIES). We were trying to choose between the two offers. And we had a 3rd possible offer coming from the buyers who initially backed out that we might have wanted to stall for.
Since they are new grads, they don't have long employment tenure. That also makes their loan riskier in terms of being underwritten at the end, and we could go through this for another month and still end up with no house sold after 2 months on/off the market and a lot of expense meeting inspection repair demands, etc.
Once I had their names I looked on LinkedIn and Facebook to see whether they came up and I could tell whether they were RNs (with ADNs) or BSN RNs. Since I'm an HR Director in Healthcare, I know that RN-BSNs can get a job ANYWHERE right now whereas the ADNs are less secure, so that increased my confidence in them as buyers who are not likely to lose their income between now and closing.
ETA - if they were budtenders in a medical marijuana place that was legal and they had solid long-tenured employment history, I wouldn't care as long as they had the money necessary to bring to closing.
If they just joined a startup 2 weeks ago, I'd be struggling with the decision, yes. I am not unique in this.
When we were buying our house, the fact that I am almost 10 years into my position and approved to buy our new house on my own (with the sale of our current house, that is), that helped make our offer more desirable for the sellers because they knew our financing wouldn't fall through. This is an important part of the seller's decision process.
