ETA 2: omg omg omg omg! H received a verbal offer by phone today! They'll flesh out the details and call references this week. Standby for a shit ton of job negotiating/ moving question!
This is a post and run because I have to go hold H's hand and enjoy this. YOU GUYS. WE're moving home. 2 hours from my sister! Who found out last week she's having a baby in May. This is amaaaazing!
So this means you are moving to/staying in the mountain west? Did I dream at one point that your H was in line for a job in Seattle?

Yay I'm glad something finally worked out
Not Seattle, the extreme south east side of the state. But still, mountain west and in WA! I can't tell you how thrilled I am to go HOME after 15 years away. Holy cow it's been so long.
My departure date is still TBD. I'm under contract to teach through December at the local university. I also have a couple of work projects going on that I'd like to wrap up, but I'd be solo-parenting DD and working full time and selling a house and getting us moved. Yowzer!
And, I secretly enjoy the idea of never mentioning my departure date to BL. For once, I'm the one with the power. She's not a job reference, so what is she going to do, fire me? Okay, I'll gladly take unemployment! Perhaps this makes me a vindictive asshole, but I'm considering plotting ways to make her miserable for as long as I can.

Having just done this feel free to PM me with any questions. I will say throw money at as many things as you can to keep your sanity - babysitters, packers, etc. I also found that anti anxiety meds helped tremendously.
