Th: 30 minute swim, possibly a lunch time class at the gym if I can fit it in F: 5 mi run, maybe some core work Sat: 20 mile run Sun: 30 min swim (I swim slowly with lots of breaks, so this is like my rest day)

What are you training for or working towards? Date? Charles Street 12: 9/5, Metric Marathon: 9/20, Baltimore Half 10/17.
Training plan for the week?
M: 4
T: 6-8 lunchtime run
W: 4
Th: Work-sponsored 5K. Which means that the faster I run, the earlier I get to go home.
F: 16
S/S: Will be OOT at a wedding but I'm taking my gear so I can run when I have a chance.
Any issues or vents? Ugh. I'm still mad about an incident last night. I was running on the paths through my neighborhood. There were these two teenage boys on the path. Neither of them would move aside to let me through and the one reached out and grabbed my thigh as I passed. I stopped, turned around and said "Excuse me", and they were both laughing. I did go back and forth between calling the police, but I mainly wanted to scare them, not actually have them arrested or anything. Now I kinda wish I had. H wanted to drive around and have me point them out, but I wanted to avoid that because I know they live in the neighborhood and I'll see them again.
Highlights or AW's from the past week? Had another 30+ mile week. I think that's 4 or 5 in a row and I'll easily get that this week.

Highlights or AW's from the past week? Awesome 15 mile run on Saturday. Also ran a speedy 5k on Sunday, about 30 seconds shy of my PR. It was great to see the speed again, I haven't seen anything close to this pace in a long time.

Any issues or vents? None really - my body hurts from digging our french drain.
Highlights or AW's from the past week? Solid week last week. I did 1.25 miles in the open water, which is my longest OWS yet. Had a nice solid ride with my husband, and a great week running. I'm making so much progress running by heart rate. At first it was really humbling to run at a pace that kept the heart rate low enough, but finally my pace is starting to fall. I hope soon to be able to run below 10min miles at the low heart rate! My body feels great as the summer winds down.
I'm sad to see my race calendar winding down - just two more events this year. so sad!
Any issues or vents? Ugh. I'm still mad about an incident last night. I was running on the paths through my neighborhood. There were these two teenage boys on the path. WTF?!?! That is SO messed up! I'm so sorry that happened to you. If it happens again (I really hope it doesn't), I would definitely call the police.
WTF!?! Maybe I'm crazy, but I would totally either call the police or find their house and tell their parents. That kind of shit is unacceptable and complete and utter bullshit. I don't put with crap from punks like that.
What are you training for or working towards? Date? Richmond, Army 10 miler, misc fall races
Training plan for the week? M - Rest T - 12 miles W - 8m w/ speed of some sort Th - cross + strength F - yoga Sat - 8m Sun - 17m

What are you training for or working towards? Date? Sprint Tri 8/29 Half 9/26 Relay 10/24
Training plan for the week? M- 2ish miles - Had a gait assessment T- bike 10 run 3 W- Swim Th- Run 5-6 easy F- Rest S - Race S- Run 6-8
Any issues or vents? I mentioned this in the randoms but my main pool is closed and it messed up my schedule/motivation for the week. ETA forgot to add that I got invited to work conference in Boston over the weekend of my relay race. I had a really hard time turning it down.
Highlights or AW's from the past week? Had a gait assessment yesterday and overall had pretty good form. Got some answers about the ongoing hip soreness I've been having after my marathon and exercises to strengthen it. Moving forward I hope this helps improve my form and overall performance.
