I completely agree. It's like, because they weren't stopped, they're going to either do that same shit again, or something worse to someone next time. Teaching them that assault is AGAINST THE FUCKING LAW is about the only way to get them to stop.
shellfish26, the more I think about this, the more I think you absolutely should either report this to the police or speak to their parents (or both). Do not let these little shits get away with it just because they live in your neighborhood and you'll see them again. Honestly, I think that's all the more reason to do something.
I know. The more I think about it, the more angry I get and the more I regret not doing anything at the time.
I'm not really sure where they live because I usually see them coming from a large townhouse development behind my neighborhood. There's a path that connects us to the middle school. H and I are going for a walk tonight, and I'm hoping to see them.

Training plan for the week? I am a complete fail whale on a training plan. Honestly, I think I'm not going to do the marathon. I am stressed at work and want to just run what feels good. This week, I'm doing: Mon: 6 Wed: 5 hills Fri: 6, 4 will be fartleks (Trying this for the first time!) Sat: 12 (I know I have company for a specific loop before our MRTT event)
Any issues or vents? I really need to start making some decisions! I just want to have fun! I scheduled an 18 mile trail loop for Labor Day weekend, and I'll add on 4 with a friend if she shows up (can be flaky) as she's training for a 50k. If I'm serious about the marathon, that should be on the road at a specific pace.
Highlights or AW's from the past week? I am enjoying running again! Letting my legs take me as far and as fast as I feel like going.

Th: Work-sponsored 5K. Which means that the faster I run, the earlier I get to go home.

S/S: Will be OOT at a wedding but I'm taking my gear so I can run when I have a chance.
Any issues or vents? Ugh. I'm still mad about an incident last night. I was running on the paths through my neighborhood. There were these two teenage boys on the path. Neither of them would move aside to let me through and the one reached out and grabbed my thigh as I passed. I stopped, turned around and said "Excuse me", and they were both laughing. I did go back and forth between calling the police, but I mainly wanted to scare them, not actually have them arrested or anything. Now I kinda wish I had. H wanted to drive around and have me point them out, but I wanted to avoid that because I know they live in the neighborhood and I'll see them again.
Highlights or AW's from the past week? Had another 30+ mile week. I think that's 4 or 5 in a row and I'll easily get that this week.
The fuck? No not even remotely funny. You should have called the cops. Assault isn't a "teenage prank" or "boys being boys." Fuck and no.

shellfish26 that is fucked up. Groping is not a joke . Don't let it slide. If you see them take their picture, plaster it on a flyer around your neighborhood and shame those pieces of shit. That sense of entitlement over women's bodies pisses me off.

What are you training for or working towards? Date? I was training for the start of field hockey season and it started last night.
Training plan for the week? Last night was hockey training - sprints/jogging/sprints/strength work for the first hour, game for last 1/2 hour (normally two hours but we had an issue getting into the pitch). W: weight lifting Th: 40 min jog F: sprint training S or S: weight lifting M: off or 20 min jog

Highlights or AW's from the past week? I'm actually shocked that I'm not in pain today after yesterday's training. That is my AW. While it was painful in the moment, my training actually has helped in recovery.
