I got to NY yesterday and have started the decorating process already. I jumped on a MyHabit "flash sale" but am now pretty nervous after ready negative reviews on site jabber. someone tell me I'm going to get my stuff! Prices were awesome.
I'm not really familiar with wayfair, but this site is associated w/ amazon (used my prime log in) and when I added items to my cart they were referred to as "offers" w/ a clock counting down the time until expiration.
plenty of items listed are already sold out, and I could not figure out how to sort by available items only. lots of cute stuff at good prices but I'm not sure about quality. I think at least part of their gimmick is to make people think they're getting in on a deal that's only available RIGHT NOW IN THIS MOMENT, and I don't know how accurate that is.
update: stuff arrived yesterday (yay!) lamp was broken (boo)
now we have to walk 1/2 mile carrying the bulky box to drop it off @ UPS. will not be ordering home goods from them again.
Can you not schedule a home pickup? I do it all the time.
it's not an option for whatever reason, even though I can do it for regular amazon purchases (and actually have one scheduled for some broken book ends I bought last week)
I'm not having much luck with online purchases these days!

If you already have a pickup scheduled and you have a prepaid label, put the box out with the other stuff.
Sometimes I'm around when UPS delivers and if I have a return, I'll just hand it to the driver. He doesn't turn it away just because it wasn't a scheduled pick up.
