Update: The C-section went smoothly, and baby Nathan Rainier arrived at 9:36pm:) 7lbs 12oz, 19" long, and full of feistiness.
Doctor said my fluid was almost gone, so we're thankful we got him out when we did. We're settling in comfortably in our room now.
Thank you as always for the support and well wishes!
I was concerned about limited movement at today's OB appointment. U/S showed my fluid is at 3, and they like to see at least 5cm. I'm getting checked in at L&D for my c-section right now.
Thank god DH was in the ATL airport between flights. He's on his way home and is calling friends to pick up the kids and our relatives to come down tonight to help.
If you could keep us in your thoughts tonight, I'd really appreciate it. I'm kind of scattered and in shock right now. My csection wasn't supposed to happen for another week.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
Wow; that is a lot all happening at once. I'm so glad your H is in town right now. Take care!! Sending many good thoughts to you and that beautiful baby boy.
Good luck! Sounds like a "controlled emergency," lol -- hope everybody gets where they need to be in time. Much more stressful than ideal, but hang in there!
OHMYGOD!!!!!! So excited! I know everything is going to be great. Sending easy birthing thoughts your way!
eta: I just realized this response makes me sound like an idiot who doesn't acknowledge your stress and freak-out possibility. I'm thinking of you in all the best ways, I promise!

Thanks for the kind words ladies. It helped me calm down. I'm glad they took my concerns seriously and acted before it became a real emergency. This isn't how I planned things would go, so I was feeling pretty emotional at first, but feeling more relaxed now. Well, at least as much as you can be
DH had just arrived back from Dallas, and was scheduled to fly to Grand Rapids for the overnight when I called. Such good timing I was able to catch him.
Surgery is scheduled for 8:00. I had a stupid yogurt around 12:00, so the anesthesiologist wanted 8 hours in between. What a lame last meal, I wish I'd had something better now. Update y'all soon!
