We have one. It's one of the Flex-top kings (so we can each adjust our own head, but the feet are connected). I love that it's adjustable, and I love that I will have lots of options to achieve comfort when I'm pregnant. Honestly, it's not the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, but we are thinking about putting a memory foam topper on it and I think that will help a lot (I got used to memory foam with our iComfort). However, even though it's not OH MY GOD comfortable, I'm sleeping better than I've ever slept in my adult life.
The only thing I regret about it is the cost. We got a really good deal on Memorial Day weekend, but it was still unbelievably expensive, and we really shouldn't have spent that much on it.
VillainV which bed do you have? We have been going back and forth one buying one this weekend but I think we are going to wait a year. We were leaning toward the flex top p5.
rikki, my parents have had one for almost ten years and they still love it. My mom's only regret is they have a queen so couldn't get a split adjustable bed. My mom says she'd raise her head a lot more often if it wasn't shared. They had one issue with an air chamber and it was quickly resolved and taken care of with a call to customer service. Other than that fluke issue, they haven't had any problems with the bed.
We had one. It was great for the first 3-4 years, then got a huge valley between the two sides. We kept rolling towards each other every night. It was awful.
My ILs had one in their guest bedroom that we always used. We hated it, it felt like a glorified air mattress. They told us a few weeks ago that they replaced it, yay!
I think we got the p5? Its definitely a pillow top. We were going back and forth between that and memory foam. I kind of regret that we didn't get the memory foam. But I think it will be fine with the foam topper.

We had a similar experience to sjh722. Great for a while and then with use and wear the interior foam walls started to break down and we ended up rolled into a valley in the center. It got to the point where I couldn't even sleep in it alone because it was so low in the center without DH's counterweight that I was just in a valley with no air under half of me (not comfortable at all!).
My ILs have one that we sleep on if we ever spend the night at their house. It's awful. It is the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. Maybe the sleep numbers needed to be adjusted more, but I will never sleep on it again...it's that bad.

We've had ours for 11 years and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It was also great when I was pregnant to be able to adjust. No regular mattress could still be this firm after that many years. Will never buy another type of bed. Next time around I want the adjustable one.

We love the adjustable frame. That was definitely worth the cost. We both snore, so being able to independently raise and lower the head on each side is awesome.

We priced them recently when at the mall just for kicks and I was surprised how much they were since the beds themselves aren't much more than a good regular mattress.
Did you get the one where you need the special sheets or the two twins?
We have one, and are happy with it. I like being able to adjust the firmness to my needs while pregnant, and my husband has back issues, so it's nice for him to be able to adjust firmness as needed as well. However, if neither of us had any issues, I don't think I would spend the money for it, even though we got a very good deal.

This is what happened to ours. It was great at first then we started noticing a valley. We just got rid of it, sold on Craigslist, and got a new bed. The main motivation was that we wanted a king, and the sleep number was a queen, not that the sleep number was too uncomfortable. But I don't think we will ever get a sleep number again.

The one with the special sheets. Though really you only need the fitted sheet. Of course you can't just buy a fitted sheet.....but if we ever need to replace just the top sheet or pillow cases, it will be easy to use regular sheets because we got white.
