@randomcdn, that sounds frustrating. Would you be willing/able to move somewhere new to find a job in your area? Best of luck to you!
Maybe. DH has a good job though. So it would have to be really good to move. I'm just angry I didn't catch any hint of the dysfunction in my interviews. And because Im actually a good worker who doesn't suck or normally have drama at work. So I'm not sure how to process this.
I went grocery shopping today and decided to clean out the freezer finally before putting the new stuff in. I threw away the last box of Morningstar Farms veggie burgers. Up until today, it was too hard to get rid of it. Suddenly today it became too hard to look at every time I opened the freezer.
More and more traces of my husband, disappearing.
(He was a vegetarian)
Hugs to you. He will never disappear, no matter what's in the freezer.
My mom still has my Dad's last can of Moxhe in her fridge. It's been almost 20 years since he has passed.
Anyone from NE knows that there is very little danger of anyone wanting a can of Moxie anyways.
I feel like I won today. My mom has always set higher expectations for me than for my brother. Today I mentioned how her expectations were unfair in a specific situation and she said I made a fair point.
Well, a shitty job is a shitty job. Most people don't put their lunatics on display when interviewing prospective employees. There's a spot out there for you, there really is; and you're going to find it. ((hugs))
Thank you. I know. It's just hard to remember this close. So I appreciate it. I promise to eat more protein. I did go to the gym and walk the dog today. It helped. Now I'm decluttering our bathrooms and doing laundry to distract myself.
@cse1960 reading your advice is so relaxing. Even if I don't have a question or anything, just reading the way you respond to other posters is so soothing.
so ... it wasn't frank's first day of school today, he actually starts 9/8. yeah. i called the office this am about something else and found out that even though their calendar has today as the first day back, it's not. it's "phase in" week and they decided to have it just be the new kids this year, not all of the kids like they have in the past.

lol #randomthoughts
You're right. I just realized I'm starting to feel better.
I'm only a lurker but I just wanted to say you may feel this - 18 months later I still do, but it's for an hour, not all day every day. I look back on a year and think things might not be right but I'm in a better place. Hugs

I was away for a couple of days and only just now saw this post. Are you still accepting vents? For the love of God, women, if you're so fucking concerned about the unsanitary conditions on a fucking highway rest stop toilet seat that you feel obliged to squat instead of sit, at least have the decency to clean up your fucking spray for the next occupant innocent victim (who walked in there with a fucking dry ass). So, for YOU the rest stop toilet seat is all "Ewwww," but for the person after you, you're all "My pee's the nectar of the Gods. You should be so lucky as to sit in my pee. You're welcome." Is that how it is? Because if it is, fuck each and every one of you sprayers. For real.

was he disappointed? and, more importantly, were you? I'd die if my kids had another week of school past what I'd planned for.
he was a little disappointed but ok because he could play with the neighborhood kids more. me on the other hand, see my previous gif - wtf? i was able to stay home with him today and got things figured out for the rest of the week, but seriously - wtf?
