My dogs food has been discontinued and it sucks because he is allergic to everything and it took me a long time to find this food. I didn't realize until too late and now it's sold out everywhere so I can't stock up.

Our Fire Stick worked at the hotel we stayed at for my latest work trip. (I was there for work, DH joined me on the trip.)
this is good to hear. We just bought a fire stick and were wondering if it would work at hotels.
The TV needed an HDMI port, and the hotel had free wifi, so we could set it up on that. My biggest concern was that the wifi bandwidth wouldn't be up for streaming, but I didn't see any issues. (we watched Netflix, hulu, and used Pandora, as well) DH might have viewed some amazon video when I wasn't in the room.
For a two week trip, it was nice to have. I'm now curious to see what might happen if we take it outside the US... (I assume hulu and Netflix will not work, but what about Pandora and amazon streaming?)

I can't comment on the Fire Stick, but when we went out of the country, Pandora and Netflix still worked for us. Netflix just didn't have 100% of the same shows. I wasn't able to watch Gilmore Girls

We put in an offer on a house/small acreage. Last week was a nightmare. The first bank that we were dealing with had an appraisal done that came in very low so we contacted another lender. A second appraisal was done on Thursday evening and we will find out the results today. Our offer was conditional on financing and that condition is due today. I just want an answer.
We did have good news though and the home inspection came back without any major issues. Not bad for a 100+ year old house.

I think it depends on if the local country has Netflix/Pandora/hulu itself - if so, you can still access your account to watch stuff, but they can only stream programming that is licensed in that local country. At least, that's my understanding of how it works...
I'm annoyed. Refresher on who I'm talking about. E is my husband's BFF. C is E's wife who was always asking my husband to come over and help her while E was gone. C cheated on E with E's BFF of 20 years. They were going to get divorced, but I guess they worked things out? Idk. She's constantly threatening divorce.
My husband has a gym membership that allows him to bring ONE guest every time he goes. I go with him about half the time. Well E has decided that he may want to start going to the gym, so my husband has offered to take E every day this week. I am between exams, so I had already told my husband that I want to go with him every day this week. Now I can't go. Oh and E said that if he likes the gym, he is going to sign up and bring C with him. So basically I'm going to have to hang out with C if I go to the gym. If I don't go, I'm sure it will be my husband, E, and C working out together. I'm not okay with his. I really hate how C turns me into such a jealous person.
Well, sure you can. You can remind H that you had already told him you wanted to be his guest, and it's pretty shitty of him to decide to leave you behind every day in favor of his friend.
That won't help the long term problem, of course, but you don't have to sit by submissively if your H dismisses you in favor of his friend.

california naturals lamb and rice canned. He is allergic to peas, oatmeal, and a bunch of other stuff.
He has to eat canned food so we are going to switch him to natural balance limited ingredient lamb and brown rice. It looks pretty similar but I'm still nervous. He used to eat wellness simple solutions lamb and brown rice but it got reforumulated with oatmeal and we had to switch him and he had GI issues for a month until he got used to california naturals.
California naturals got bought by Mars (who makes eukanuba and iams). Boo.

Bummer, I know how hard it is to find anything without peas! Sadly I'm not in the loop with canned food. Could you add water to kibble to soften it, that may give you more options?
I'm looking at the CN lamb and rice kibble, because it's one of the very few that has rice as the only carb - most have peas or potatoes added, and almost everybody else that does adds flaxseed. I just REALLY don't want to feed a kibble produced by a giant. I like my little recall free, mom and pop stuff. I've got him on a grain-based cod now, have a venison and pea option (assuming peas past the test, they're next) but there's no great rice option :-(

I told my H that today he better be doing all the weightlifting that I hate doing. I'm just going to run on the treadmill at home. I'm not going to let this go on all week. I'm just really upset that C and E may be joining our gym because (1) I don't like or trust her and (2) I like not knowing anyone there so that I don't get embarrassed by anything.
I have to buy a large TV for the office...Costco or Amazon? What TV?
Costco because of their return policy (admittedly I know nothing about their return policy for electronics).
The return window for electronics is 90 days from purchase. I also recommend Costco. That's where DH and I got our Sharp Aquos LED TV. It's awesome, but not cheap. If you need a little more MM, they have other options, like Vizio.
