I'm in package delivery hell.
Staples sent me a package that was supposed to be delivered Thurs. Checked the tracking Thurs morning and it said out for delivery. Never came. Checked the tracking again and it had taken away the out for delivery and updated the delivery to Friday. Friday it never said out for delivery and never came. Updated to delivery for today. So I contacted Staples. Told them there was no movement since Thurs morning despite being in the local area. Their response? "It's scheduled to be delivered on Monday." Not helpful (I also can see that on the tracking). Clearly at this point there is an issue because there is no movement on the package and they just keep bumping the delivery date back. It's not out for delivery today according to the tracking. So I opened a claim with UPS. This is annoying. Basically Staples won't do anything because it still says an expected delivery date but as long as the package isn't delivered, it's going to keep saying that. And as long as it's lost, it's not going to be delivered, so the cycle is never going to end.
HoneySpider I hope they figure out the shipping situation quickly or send you a replacement asap. I lose my mind over shipping/tracking stuff but can't seem to stop shopping online.

@moonbeam Yeah I'm not giving up online shopping anytime soon Since I filed the claim, UPS is now looking into it and trying to find the package. Luckily it is not something I need right away, but I hate wasting my time on this stuff. Did you ever get your Amazon package?
I feel like I might be alone here at work in my project management skills. Let's see...what all can we, as a company, do at once:
* Roll out a new EMR (electronic medical records) * Have Open Enrollment for 2015/2016 benefit elections * Take RSVP's for the company picnic * Allow two new executive candidates start 0ff-cycle (not on regularly scheduled orientation...because they're SPECIAL), making MrsMB have to enter them in the midst of the chaos.
This company REALLY lacks in their ability to look ahead.

I'm sick of money issues. I just want to be comfortable and not worry that we can't pay for something. I hate paying for student loans when I don't feel like my degree is really helping. I know it's partially my own fault. But damn it, I just want to afford life.
I'm sick of feeling the way I do. I'm always tired and crabby. I want to either curl up in a ball and sleep for weeks and/or tear my brain out. I'm constantly fighting against my own brain and it's so incredibly frustrating. I just want to feel normal for once.
((estrellita)) hopefully once you get into your new place you can figure out your new normal and it will help you feel better financially and emotionally.

I hope so. I hope we can get into a better routine with things like meal planning to help us save some money. I am trying to lower my SL payments but I haven't heard back yet. I'd post my budget for help but there isn't really anything we can cut back on other than lunches and that kind of random spending. Our bills are pretty stuck and I'm a little afraid of our electric at the house and the extra bills. The other things aren't a lot, but it adds up fast I wish we had the funds to pay something off to eliminate a monthly payment!
vent: I went to target today for toilet paper and paper towels. It was insane. Like, every line was at least 10 people deep, children screaming everywhere. I am in a line that isn't moving for literally 10 minutes. I look to see what is going on, and someone is opening a target card. Ugh. So I finally change lines because this one isn't going anywhere, wait in the next one for a few minutes, and then notice the person two people ahead of me is opening a target card. WTF. On what planet is this an appropriate time for credit card opening, when lines are insane, everyone in the store is irritable, children are screaming everywhere, it's hot and the sun is beating in through the window... Again, WTF.
