I was talking with DH abut it yesterday & we both agree my house is very masculine (blue/gray/brown/steel/wood mostly). It's gotten too masculine lately & he agrees that we need to add some more soft/feminine/neutral features. I'm going to get some pillows & bring in some reds/oranges. What's funny is that he's outnumbered 5 girls to 1 guy here.
I think it's a pretty good mix. Our formal living room has a dark brown leather sofa and green chairs with nail-head trim (masculine) but a watercolor painting of flowers and throw pillows and a rug that are more feminine. Family room is painted a gray-blue with dark gray couches and thick black picture frames on the wall, all more masculine. To add contrast and color we have a pattern arm chair, rug, and curtains. I am more attracted to the simplicity of dark colors, neutrals, and clean lines so those are the basics of our decorating. I then like to embellish with artwork, pillows, rugs, or accent furniture that ties in colors or patterns.

I eschew gender identity stereotypes for houses, cars, and most inanimate objects. I've always liked deep, rich colors. And big trucks. And men. To me, my taste is feminine. But you will never see any flowery, lacey decor, or pink anything, in my house.

Pretty much all of this.
Our house is our taste, and I honestly have no idea what label fits.
Neither. Our furniture mostly has clean lines, but is a variety of styles. We have traditional, transitional, Mission, Queen Anne and country furniture. Our color choices are blues, greens, yellows and browns.

I like bold patterns and colors - reds, oranges, etc. - and deep wood colors.
My H likes soft colors - purples, blues and hued greys - and more floral-ish patterns (depending).

Definitely more masculine with feminine touches. I love vintage modern (not mid-century modern exactly, but closely related). One couch is gray linen with very square tufted pillow backs, the other is a brown leather sectional. At the same time I have a couple of pillows sitting on a beat up old army trunk that are covered in floral stitching and mother of pearl buttons. I also have a ton of framed designer shopping bags which used to surround my vanity area in our apartment but that I need to find a location for in this house.

So. Yeah. I dunno. It's neither? Both?
All of this. (Except for the truck lol)
I like rich, jewel tones, H likes whites. We're very eclectic, and all of our patterns are pretty neutral. Our house is probably more fun/childish than gendered (we have an arcade game in the DR)

We have no TV in our mainfloor living room but we have lots of board games & an air hockey table in our sunroom. DH really wants an arcade console which may happen down the line. I say it's fun focused.
