I was just sitting at my desk and felt a small earthquake. My coworkers keep our doors open and yell back and forth to each other often. Right when I felt the quake I yelled "earthquake!!"
The girl a few offices down is 9 months pregnant and was walking by. She said "No, I think that's just me."
We are on the second floor of a not very sound building and sometimes the floor will shake if you walk really heavy and fast on it. I DO NOT think it was her and am pretty sure it was a small quake. I told her she was nuts for thinking that, but oh wow what timing.
OMG lolololol!!!! I'm sorry, I know its not funny, but lol!!!
I'll tell you my humiliating non-intentional story.
When I was in college I saw a car with a hilarious bumper sticker on it. I was dying laughing at it, and tried to point it out to my friend as we walked to her car across the aisle.
She looked mortified and hustled me into her car. Apparently there was a family getting their disabled child out of their large van right next to the funny-bumper-sticker-car, and they were flipping me off thinking I was pointing and laughing at them. My friend angrily accused me of this once we were in the car and pulling out. I hadn't even seen them.
I was so embarrassed. I jumped out of the MOVING car to run to apologize. They didn't speak English and I don't think they understood or believed me
I think the NEXT best thing to do is just go all in. Suggest Richter for a baby name. Give her a onesie that says "8.2". Toss a cup of water at the person walking behind her and shout "TSUNAMI!"
Or Aki, the scale suggested to replace the Richter scale.
