A hates bottles. We didn't have this issue with E. He didn't care how he was fed, but she will hunger strike. She started daycare today and ate 5 oz all day. They suggested we try a different bottle. Has anybody had any luck with some that are more breast like?
Mine will take a Mam bottle, probably because the nipple is shaped like the pacifiers, but the flow is pretty fast. When he was younger, he would easily take the playtex drop-ins. They have a nipple combo set, so you could try out a few different shapes.
The LC/feeding specialist suggested anything with a long nipple for breastfed babies. Joovy is also a popular one.
My breastfed son routinely only drank 6 oz. at daycare. It's pretty normal. He just saved up for when he was back with me. I never tried other bottles because he was happy. Once he moved to sippy cups he would drink more. But breastfeeding milk from a bottle never worked with him. Don't worry too much. We used Dr.Brown bottles.
i have heard good things about Adiri (sp?). I might have a couple downstairs I could send to you. there is also breastflow, which was designed by midwives or something. Anyway, to get the milk, the baby has to use the same motions as they do on the breast.

Another vote for Lansinoh mOmma bottles. My youngest had the hardest time transitioning, and this bottle finally got her there. It is shaped more like a breast, and I think that makes all the difference. Once she would happily take the mOmma bottles we were able to get her to take any bottles, so don't lose hope for your stash. Hope she figures it out quickly!

For my bottle refusing DD2 we finally had sucess with Playtex drop ins. She refused like 7 other brands. DS prefers the MAM bottles, but will also use Playtex drop ins too.

DD would only drink from the Playtex drop in liner bottles with the yellow latex nipples. Once she did that for a while we were able to switch over to the silicon nipples.
DS1 ended up preferring the least naturally shaped bottle I could find. As a bonus, they were the cheapest. They were Evenflo, but now I think similar bottles are Gerber. Four years ago, they were about 3/$3. It was like he said, "if it's not the real thing, don't even try!"
WE had huge bottle issues and I spent tons of $ trying them all. We ended up trying Playtex drop ins at the suggestions of one of the teachers at DS daycare and they were the only ones he would take.
O is obviously much older, but he went on hunger strike when we changed daycares for a week. Hang in there, I was losing it so I know how worried you must be. She'll eat, I promise.

I also need MH to not be whiny any time I need to leave her with him. I get its no fun to be stuck with a screaming baby but sometimes I don't want to time me my errands around feedings
We tried nine different brands for DD who was a bottle refuser. She finally took the regular Medela ones.
The first few days/weeks at DC were rough. She would take 6-8-ish ounces, occasionally 10-11 by the time she stopped DC at seven months.
DC figured out she liked her bottles pretty warm and to be tucked toward them when feeding like a nursing position. I also sent a receiving blanket in that I had slept with. They would put that over her while she ate.
It was a nightmare at home as well and stressful for my H.

Maybe try the calma nipples, see if they fit on the medela glass you have. Avent bottles are rated decently well and I got a few of those free in various gift packs I got, did you? They are working for me too
We used Playtex Drop Ins with the breast shaped nipple. The slow flow nipple is really slow flow and the drop in naturally compresses as the kid drinks so they don't end up drinking a bunch of air and get all gassy.

She has been either asleep or attached to my boob since she got home. Poor muffin didn't really nap either. Hopefully, it doesn't take her long to settle in.
